Jealousy and Anger

Since I came back home, I have felt nothing but confusion. The first day was fine. Chisaki and I were fine but then the next day she started acting completely weird and I know it has everything to do with Lord Uroko. They're not telling us something. Hikari mentioned to me that he heard Lord Uroko say something about a dream that Chisaki has been having but what could that mean? I swear that I will find out because things cannot go on like this. I refuse to lose Chisaki because of this. Whatever this is. I came home a lot early just to be here for her birthday and I even brought some friends to reassure her that I was doing okay alone but I guess bringing them backfired on me big time. I lay there in my futon with my thoughts full of Chisaki. Then I noticed that the sun started to rise and decided to just get up since sleep wasn't going to be a thing. Another thing that bothers me is the fact that Chisaki's health hasn't been well either since she started acting weird. I walked out to the back and saw grandpa working on his net as usual.

"Good morning gramps." I said with my normal apathetic voice. He looked at me and nodded. Looks like he couldn't sleep either.

"Tsumugu... are you sure you have no idea what's going on with Chisaki?"

"I don't. I'm sorry. I wish I did though..."

"She's never acted this way before. I'm really concerned." Gramp's expression looked so worried.

"Yeah..." was the only thing that I could say to that because I'm worried as well and it's starting to feel like I can't do anything about it. It also feels like I might lose Chisaki permanently and I really can't handle that. I would be so lost without-

Grandpa interrupted my thoughts.

"I wonder where she went so early in the morning..."

What?

"Gramps, Chisaki isn't here?" I asked him with a growing concern.

"No, I saw her leave the house very early. Seemed like she was in a hurry. I don't know why."

Without another word I rushed out of the house to look for Chisaki. I went to Akari's house and she wasn't there. She wasn't at her school. She wasn't at the hospital. At this point, Hikari, Kaname, Manaka, Miuna and Sayu were helping me look for her. After looking on land, Shioshishio was the only place left to look. After meeting up with everyone, we started to head to the sea when we saw Chisaki come out of the sea from the beach in the distance. I took one step toward where she was then I froze. Lord Uroko came out of the sea behind her. The only thing I could do was watch shocked as they started to talk. Chisaki's face was a mixture of shock and understanding. Then her face changed. It looked like she made her mind up about something. She grabbed Lord Uroko's right hand with both of hers and smiled gently. Then he responded to her smile by resting his forehead on hers. A wave of extreme anger and jealousy exploded through me and before I knew it I was running towards them shouting Chisaki's name. They both looked at me. Chisaki looked shocked and Lord Uroko looked annoyed. I pushed him and tried to grab Chisaki's hand when Lord Uroko instantly put himself in between Chisaki and I. I felt even more anger. My hand raised while balled in a fist when I heard Chisaki's voice.

"Tsumugu, stop!" She shouted. That froze me. I looked at her and her face looked very sad. I slowly lowered my hand while looking Chisaki in the eye. She was trying to tell me something. Something important.

"Chi, what's going on? Why are you coming out of the sea with Lord Uroko?" Manaka asks concerned. Chisaki and Lord Uroko look at each other.

"Uh, I was visiting mom." A lie. "She's pregnant now and she needed some help." She's lying to us.

"Why is Lord Uroko with you though?" Kaname asked in his normal polite voice.

"Do I need a reason?" Lord Uroko asked with a serious expression. Then there was a beat of silence. Then Sayu said something about going home and Kaname offered to walk her. My eyes were locked on Chisaki's face. She couldn't look me in the eye.

"Chisaki, can we walk you home?" Hikari asked slowly. She nodded and we all started walking to my house. I couldn't stop glancing over at Chisaki and Lord Uroko who were walking way too close. I stopped dead in my tracks as we approached home.

"Chisaki" I said loud and clear to make sure she heard me. Everyone stops and looks at me.

"Can I talk to you alone?" I asked. She looks down at the ground and nods. Everyone, including Lord Uroko walk ahead leaving Chisaki and I alone. I waited a couple minutes before I said anything.

"Chisaki, wha-"

"Please don't." She interrupted me.

"Don't what? Ask what's going on? Don't you think I have a right to know? I came back early to celebrate your birthday this whole month! I wanted to spend time with you more than anything since I have been too busy with school and work to call. I come back and suddenly you're all different. Chisaki... I am so worried about you. Please talk to me. Tell me what's going on." She was silent for a moment. Taking in everything I said I assume.

"Tsumugu. This is something that I have to deal with on my own... with Lord Uroko."

"Why with Lord Uroko? Are you two..." I could finish asking the unthinkable question.

"No" she said firmly. "Lord Uroko and I don't have any romantic connection..."

I looked her in the face and she looked right back at me. So she's telling the truth. If that's the case then...

"What IS going on with Lord Uroko then?"

She looks down with a sad expression. Then she looks me in the eye while moisture spills from hers.

"Tsumugu, lets do something together this week. With everyone."

...what?

*Hello guys! I'm alive. Let me apologize to those who have been waiting so long for an update. I feel so horrible for waiting so long. Please know that I do have reasons. That being said, I will try my best to post more often. It won't be every week like I originally planned but it will happen. Let me know what you think about this chapter. Especially since it's in Tsumugu's point-of-view. Thanks for reading! I love you all :D*
