Kalaya's POV
(Shout out to Basically_Sartorius for letting me use the new years eve kiss idea! Thanks boo )

I suddenly heard the door open to the hospital room I was in. It was Jacob. He ran over and hugged me while in tears. " I'M SO SORRY! IT WAS MY FAULT WE WENT TO THE PARK! IT'S MY FAULT YOUR MOM GOT KILLED WHILE LOOKING FOR YOU! I'M SOOOO SORRY!" He yelled while tears streamed down his face. I hugged him and whispered " It's not your fault. Please Jacob calm down...." He still didn't stop crying for a bit. Soon he calmed down. We hugged for a while. Finally the nurse came in with a phone. "Sweetie it's your father." She said. "Hi d-dad." I said in a shaky voice. " Sweetie I know what happened." You could tell he was crying. " You'll have to stay at Jacob's for a while so I can have some time alone. I need to think for a while." "Well how long?" I said. " " About a month after New years eve hun."He said. After we talked he hung up and the nurse said I could go home. I changed and when I walked out, I almost fell. I was very weak. Suddenly Jacob picked me up and he walked me to the car. I didn't realize how tired I was. Jacob let me rest my head on his lap. When I woke up, Jacob face was inches away. WE ARE CUDDLING!? IN THE SAME BED? I thought. He woke up and smiled.

Jacob's POV

After we got into the car, I let her sleep on my lap. After we got home, my mom was setting up her room. I layer her on my bed and lied next to her. She curled up, head buried in my chest. I smiled and fell asleep. Tomarrow was New Years Eve. I would kiss her at 12:00. It was a brilliant plan. We would be a couple. I was excited. It would be perfect. I woke up with her looking into my eyes. She was blushing. I smiled. I couldn't help it so I kissed her. It wasn't just any kiss, it was a special kiss. It lasted a bit, too. It was the first kiss of something special. I got out of the bed. She stood up to. We both walked downstairs to get breakfast. "J-jacob" she said. " Thank you. " I smiled at her words.

Time skip 11:56 pm

Kalaya's POV

We both sat next to each other on the park bench. 4 minutes left until I kiss him. 3 minutes now. I was so excited. It was gonna be perfect. 2 minutes. Why is time going by so fast.... 1 minute.... I'm so nervous!! 10...9...8...7...6...5...4...3...2...1... he leaned in to kiss me. I grinned at this and wrapped my arms around his neck and pulled him in for the kiss. It lasted about 30 seconds. Happy New Years to me. "AHEM!!" We heard. I looked and saw Tonya. She was crying " JACOB! I THOUGHT WE WERE DATING!" she yelled. "Wait...your dating!" I said, shocked. " No! I wasn't dating her! " He said looking at me. " WE STARTED DATING WHILE SHE WAS IN THE HOSPITAL! YOU EVEN KISSED ME!"She screamed and ran off crying. He ran after her. I was hurt. Everything was just fine until now. I was walking home when I turned around and saw them kissing. I felt tears poke at my eyes and ran home as fast as I could. Mrs. Sartorius showed me my room and I shut and locked the door. I jumped on the bed and started crying. He banged on the door. " Kalaya please open the door! She kissed me! I pushed her away immediately!" He said. " NOT IMMEDIATELY! YOU GUYS WERE MAKING OUT! I SAW YOU! I KNOW HOW LONG IT WAS! NOW JUST GO AWAY AND LEAVE ME ALONE!" I yelled through my sobs. WHY?! WHY IS IT ALWAYS ME?! I screamed in my head.

Hey guys sorry I haven't been posting as often as I want, but I lost my flow. If you want you can comment ideas and I'll use them sooner or later. And I won't be posting as fast every other weekend, cuz I have to go to my dad's. *cough**cough* this weekend*cough**cough*. I'll try to post more though. I promise. And sorry this story sucks. I was super tired when I finished it. :/
