Blurry awaking met Tundrapaw.
She flinched when she moved, but felt a sticky feeling on her body.
Cobwebs, and dried blood. There was no thunder, lightning, sound of rain. Nothing. But song bird's singing and a locust sound.
Sunrays beamed into the den she was in.
The Medicine Cats' Den."You're awake, that's wonderful," said a voice in a purr.
"...Yeah... I guess I am. That's good," Tundrapaw replied. She wasn't happy go lucky as she usually was.
"Hm. Is this a side effect? I remember you being the bouncy helpful and silly one everyday no matter what... This is a problem," mewed the voice.
"I'm just not in a mood..." replied Tundrapaw, eyes dim, but she couldn't see well.
"Joking aside. You seem well now. You were out for two days... Broke a hip, torn an ear, twisted two claws, swallowed lots of salt, so you must be thirsty... The worst part is the slight lost of your sight," murmured the cat.
"I did? Interesting... Oh well, I can live without it," mewed Tundrapaw.
The cat sighed.
"You never met your Clanmates properly. But I'm DawnRose. Your brother found you along with SunFire... Swiftpaw as well attacked anyone besides Sunfire who got in his path of bringing you here. He's a good brother. When he comes in, thank him. You'd be a StarClan apprentice if he hadn't saved you.""No need to wait.. I'm here already... Is she-" he cut himself off and bolted to his sister, and pressed against her, purring loudly.
"You're alive! Awake too!" Swiftpaw mewled like a kit, too happy to care.
"Yes... I'm awake.. Thank you for saving me," Tundrapaw said dully.
Swiftpaw noticed it right away. "You're slightly blind, aren't you? You aren't upset about it, are you?"
"No. I don't care if I'm slightly blind. It's a good fit,"
"No! You should care... It's not like you to be so dull in talking either... , what happened? This can't be pertiment, can it?"
"...I don't know."
Tundrapaw tilted her head to the side, and blinked. She just stood and headed out of the Medicine Cats' Den. managing to avoid the walls or spreaded herbs.
She sat down, and lifted her head to the sun.
"Sunhigh... The thunder passed yesterday. Two trees broke. A cat loss to sickness... The cat was my mother. I don't scent her anywhere. The ground is unbalanced from loss of two trees. I smell smoke, the grass here was singed," murmured the white feline.Swiftpaw stared. "You could tell all that, while being blind?"
"Yes. My other senses are increased."
"Amazing."
"Hm... No. It's natural, Swiftpaw..."
Swiftpaw just sighed, and padded away.
"Bye," replied Tundrapaw, not even looking his way, but could feel the slight wind when he left.
Curling up, Tundrapaw basked in the sun, closing her lighter amber eyes.
^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^She fell asleep lightly. Where she stood, looked like camp, she could tell it wasn't, she then blinked, she could see?
"Hello, Tundrapaw," mewed a gentle soft voice.
