Melissas P.O.V.
I watched as the mysterious boy rode away. I wonder if i will ever see him again? I facepalmed, he said he was my neighbor. Look at me acting like a love struck puppy. Nope you cant fall in love again Lissa, remember the last time. yup you had your heart broken by a jerk. I wonder if he even noticed me? i mean he was in a hurry. Great Im doomed face it girl you are in love.
I walked through my front door to see my mother sitting at the kitchen table drinking tea.
"Hey Lissa back so soon?" she asked me
"Yeah" i answered absentmindedly twirling a strand of my curly blonde hair around my index finger.
"And who was that boy you were talking to? Is that the neighbor Liam? you two would be adorable together." she asked
"Mom!! are you kidding me right now? stay out of my love life and pease dont try to set us up." i begged her.
"Ok fine i was just saying that he was nice." she put her hands in the air in defense.
"Im going to go to bed." i said looking at the clock which read 8:59pm I had school tomorrow.
"Ok goodnight sweetheart." she said as i ran up the stairs and as an after thought she added "Dream Of Liam!!"
"Mooooom!" i groaned "Goodnight."
when I got to my room i stripped out of my clothes and threw on my pajamas. I hopped in bed with one thought in my head.
Liam.
THE NEXT DAY
BEEP! BEEP! BEEP!
I woke up to the horrid noise of my phone going off.
"Shut up!" i moaned slamming my fist on the clock trying to find the snooze.
I climbed out of my bed about as slow as a zombie. I grabbed a towel and ran to the bathroom. Peeling off my pajamas I hopped into the shower the water scalding my skin. I spun the dial to the left making the water a bit colder. I lathered the coconut shampoo through my hair, then i applied the conditioner. i scrubbed my body and rinsed everything off. I jumped out of the shower and dried off. I checked the time on my phone, It was 7:45
"Crap!" i whispered and sprinted through my room grabbing my clothes.
Once I had thrown on my denim skinny jeans and my 3 quarter sleeve blue and white striped sailor shirt, I grabbed my white toms and sprinted downstairs. I grabbed an apple peeling the sticker off and placing it in the trash bin.
"Bye mom love you!" i pecked her on the cheek then walked out the front door.
I was walkinhg down the front porch steps when i heard another door slamming. I looked over to our neighbors house. When I saw who was walking out the front door and towards me, my heart skipped a beat. It was Liam. I just stood there looking retarded. Then my mind processed what was happening. Crap he was walking towards me, dont freak, dont freak, act normal.
"Hey Lissa!" he greeted me. My heart fluttered when he said my nick name.
"Hey Liam." I responded. I high fived myself in my head. Good job you sounded normal.
"where are you heading at this un-godly hour?" he asked and i giggled
"school where else?"
"Oh. so what school do you go to?"
"I am going to attend WolverHampton High." i said all professional like.
"what a coencidence! That is where i go"
"Yay now we can walk together!"
"Yes we can."
The rest of the walk to school consisted of discussing classes and setting up a time to meet after school so we can walk home. When we arrived at school Liam was greeted by 4 other guys. One had curly hair. One had black and blonde hair in a quiff, another was blonde and obviously irish, his accent was noticable. and the last one was brunette and constantly talking about kevin! whoever that was. I was snapped out of my trance when I heard my name mentioned.
"....Is Melissa" Liam intoduced me
I nodded and said "Hi...umm" obviously waiting for them to fill in their names.
"I am Harry, But you can call me hazza" he winked at me and smiled. I looked over at Liam, did i see a hint of jealousy? Nah.
"I am Niall." he said then he added "Im Irish"
"Haha I can tell" i aid and waited for two more names
"I am Zayn" he said checking his reflection in the schools trophy case.
"And you are?" i asked the last one
"SUPERMAN!!" he screamed causing me to flinch "or Louis, Louis is fine too"
I laughed and we stood talking for a while when I felt someone tap my shoulder. I spun around to be greeted by 3 huge guys. And by huge i mean Ginormous!
"Hi Im..." i was cut off by some one grabbing my shoulders and shoving me up agianst a locker.
"I dont care what your name is! I just want you to know that I am the head of this school! so you can just stay at the bottom of the food chain with your loser status! Got it?" he snarled in my ear.
I nodded and whimpered slightly. His grip was extremely tight. i closed my eyes as a single tear slipped down my face. then i felt the pressure dissapear from my shoulders. I opened my eyes to see Liam punch the kid in the face. the kid punced him back then kicked him in the gut. Liam fell to the floor. I ran to his side and kneeled down.
"Liam are you ok?" i asked
"yeah just stay away from Kyle!" he told me
Kyle walked away surrounded by his possee.
well this was an eventful first day!
