"MARK?! IF THIS IS YOUR IDEA OF A JOKE... Well... Then... I-Its not very f-funny!" Jack said, growing more terrified with every word.
"M-Mark?!"
"Mark? Please, let m-me out! I-I hate t-the dark..." Jack began to sob. He slid down and leant against the door and pulled his legs towards his chest wrapping his sore arms around them and burying his head in his knees.
He started to sing to calm himself down. His mother always used to sing for him when ever he was scared. "W-White lips, pale f-face... Breathing in s-snowflakes, b-burnt lungs, s-sour taste. Light's gone, d-day's end... S-Struggling to pay rent... L-Long nights, s-strange m-men"
Jack continued to sing until he reached the start of the second verse and the door opened.
Jack fell over and out of the door, because of the way he was siting, and there stood a frowning Mark, phone in his hands on the camera app.
"Y-You were fucking r-recording me?!" Jack shouted at the American as he stood up.
"I thought it would be funny...?"
"W-Why'd ya lock me in there in the f-first place?!?!"
"Someone dared me to make the tuff guy cry..." Mark said gesturing towards Jack when saying 'tuff guy'.
"Who?!"
"What?"
"Who t-the fuck dared you?!?!" Jack yelled still wiping away tears.
"My friend..."
"W-Who's your 'friend'?!" He asked.
"A.J." Mark mumbled.
"Who?!"
"A.J!" Mark said clearer this time. "It's probably irrelevant now, but... You have a lovely voice..."
"Where's A.J now?! He and I need t' have a bit of a talk..." Jack said completely Ignoring Mark's compliment.
"At the park where he normally is after school... What are you going to do to him?" Mark asked, concern lacing his voice.
"Something I might regret in the future, but need to do now." Jack said leaving the room and out the front door.
"Sean! I-I mean, Jack! Stop!" Mark yelled, but it was too late Jack was already gone.
"What's going on honey?" Marks mum asked walking into the room.
"I pranked Jack. I thought it would b-be funny, but he started to cry and he was s-singing and it was beautiful and I opened the door to t-the basement and he fell out of it and started yelling and asking m-me 'why?' And so I told the truth and he got m-mad and y-yelled at me asking who dared me and I told him A-A.J and so he got pissed and stormed out to find him a-and I d-don't know what H-he's g-gonna do..." Mark cried into his mothers arms as she embraced him.
His mum slapped him over the back of the head, "What was the that for?!" Mark asked, "You cursed! And also you hurt that poor innocent Jack! I'm sorry to tell you, Love but... I'm your mother and my job to tell you when you've messed up. You shouldn't have done that..."
"I know I'm an idiot-" "Your not an idiot! Now, what are you going to do about it?" Marks mum cut him off.
"I don't know mum..."
"Go after him! Make sure he doesn't do anything he'll regret!" She smiled.
Mark thanked her and ran out of the house and down the street after Jack.

As Jack stormed down the street with his hands shoved in his hoodie pockets he got a few weird looks and an 'are you okay' but he just responded by harshly saying 'fine'.
"A.J!!" He yelled and A.J turned around.
"Oh, h-hi Sean... W-What's up?" A.J said obviously trying his hardest not to be scared.
"Ye know what you did ye feckin' dick!! And me names Jack!"
"I d-don't know what your t-talking about."
"Oh my fookin' God!! You really are a jerk! Not just to me but to your 'friends'!" He said, raising his hands to make quotation marks with his fingers when saying 'friends'.
"O-Oh. Y-You mean the prank! Haha... Y-Yeah... Funny right?" A.J said, now terrified.
"Are you shitting me?! Funny?! My God!" Jack yelled grabbing the collar of A.J's shirt and lifting his clenched fist pushing it forward all of A.J's friends gasping and begging Jack to let him go.
"JACK! STOP!" Yelled Mark just before Jack was about to punch A.J.
"Mark?" He asked Lowering his fist, still holding A.J's shirt and turning towards the American.
"What the fuck, Jack?! What the hell are you doing?!"
"Teaching this shit a lesson." The Irishman spat turning towards the boy in his grip and A.J whimpered.
"That's no way to solve a problem!"
"Your one to talk, Fischbach."
"Just let him go Jack! Please." Mark begged.
Jack reluctantly let the terrified boy out of his grip and told him, "If ye ever try anything like that again I'll make ya regret it. And next time there won't be any of your pathetic friends t' stop me."
A.J ran away and his whole click (that were to scared too do anything) followed.
"What the fuck was that about Mark?!" Jack asked when the group of people had gone.
"Your asking me?! I should be asking you what that was all about!" Mark yelled.
"You know what, FUCK YOU MARK!" Jack shouted and walked over to a tree and punched it. He had to get his anger out somehow.
"Jack, please. Calm down!!" Mark yelled and walked over
He continued to punch until blood started to come out of his knuckles. Only then did he stop and put his head against the tree and cried. He turned around and slid down the hunk of bark and cried until there where no tears left.
"W-What t-the hell M-Mark?" Jack said when he noticed his head on a shoulder and two muscular arms around his waist.
"I'm sorry for everything I did when we were younger, Jack. I didn't mean to be rude." Mark apologised.
"Sorry won't fix a-anything... Ye can just say sorry and expect everything t' be o-okay. It doesn't work t-that way..." Jack said not excepting Marks apology and moving away from the, surprisingly, warm embrace.
"I'm gonna h-home now..."
"But, Jack-"
"N-Nope. I don't wanna hear it, Markimoo." Jack teased and walked away leaving Mark to question everything he's ever said to the young Irish man
