My mom left me when I was six. When I was fourteen my dad was killed in a car wreck. With out anywhere else to go, I left for Grannies. Its been three years since then. I'm seventeen now, a junior at Lakewood high. Honestly I hate school, anyone who doesn't belongs in a mad house. Speaking of the hell that is highschool, if I don't get my lazy bum up Grannies gonna come up here with the saucepan again.

" Drae dear, you better get up or you'll be late again." Sometimes I think the elderly are psychic. Doing as she says, I roll off my bed, and walk downstairs for breakfast. After eating about a dozen pancakes I got dressed and started to head out for school.

Highschool, a wonderful place full of stupid gullible teen girls.

" Renji, I got you some coffee, decaf." See, what can i say women love me. Who wouldn't I'm irresistable. I took the cup from her and took a sip, at that same time another girl came up and offered some fresh pasta. I looked at her for a minute, and man she had one of the stupid innocent looks on her face. It really ticked me off.

" Uh, blow on it, no spit on the food either."

" What?" Please tell me she did not just say that. Does she really think I can eat that, it would burn my tongue. Shoving it to a different girl, she blew on the pasta gently and started to feed me. God women are so stupid these days.

Man, I miss summer. The waves, the sand, and the warm feel of the sun on your bare back. Summer goes by to fast and unexpected for us surfers. Its like seeing a young chubby kid speed by on a tricycle. So wierd and suprising. There is absolutely no fun during the school year, its so bland and blank. Just thinking about it makes me shiver out of fear. I ditched today cause I know I wouldnt be able to handle the first day.

Thank God my parents don't really care or else I'd be in the janitors closet waiting for school to end. I've got to stop talking about it its making me sick. Got to get to that happy place. Think of the waves Kai, the waves. The sound of them against my board, the nice calming rolling motion. Great now I have to use the little surfers room, thanks happy place.
