Chapter 4: Dinner And A Kidnapping

Solo knocked on Illya and Marias door, Illya opened the door. Both men were wearing very fancy tux's, and both men looked very handsome. Gaby followed Solo in wearing a amazing red dress. Maria walked in from the bathroom wearing a beautiful black dress. " Well everyone looks amazing shall we get going? " Maria says adjusting her earing. " Everyone knows the plan right? " Gaby asks. " Yes, keep eye on ambassador. If we see any funny business come get everyone else. Do NOT go in alone. " Illya says mocking Maria during the last part.
" Great now let's go before we are late " Maria says. They all leave and head to the event room at the hotel . They walk in going to their seats." I don't see the Ambassador yet, do you?" Illya asks as he sits down next to Maria. " No, not yet. He'll probably be late as usual " Maria says.
Dinner was going to be served soon and still no sign of the Ambassador. Maria turns to Illya " Dear I think we should go to the gardens and get some fresh air, its quite stuffy in here" she says trying to sound casual around the other people seated at their table. " of course.. Dear. " Illya says standing up. Maria does the same, and Illya locks arms. " he should be here, dinners being served and still no sign of him, somethings wrong" She whispers to him. They walk out to the gardens and get a clear view of the front of the hotel. They watch for him. After a while he finally drives up. As he's getting out two black cars drive speeding up and halt to a stop 4 men from each car jump out the Ambassador guards try fighting these men but to no avail Maria and Illya already running to help. Maria sets off a beeper message to Gaby and Solo. Illya starts fighting the men then Maria too.
They manage to beat down Illya then give him some sort of shot in the back of the neck. Illya jumps to his feet and quickly becoming unstable. He is able to fight for no more than another minute before he falls to the ground in an unmoving slump. " ILLYA! " Maria yells as 5 of the men come at her and the other 3 tie up and put Illya in the back of one of the cars.
One of the men pull a knife on Maria. View she takes a step back as the man lunges at her. The man makes another attempt at her but she doesn't move quick enough.. She gets a deep cut in her side she falls to the ground just as her partner had done moments ago. She was bleeding badly. One of the men begin to lug her to the other car. " No. Leave her. " one of them says in a horrible american accent. They leave her there driving off with the Ambassador and Illya. They left her to die.

Minutes earlier

Gaby and Solo sat and watched the door looking for the Ambassador. " Why isn't he here yet? " Gaby asks quietly as she takes a sip of her drink. " I'm not sure, we should go look around" Solo says standing up. As they are walking out a large group of people walk in and the get separated for a moment. After they find each oth again they leave the event room.
" What was that all about? " Gaby asks fixing her dress " I'm not sure. But it definitely wasn't an accident, we need to find Peril and Maria" Solo says going back in the event room and going to were they were supposed to be seated. " Excuse me but, do you happen to know where the man and woman that where here went? " Solo asks questioning the other people at the table. " to the garden" one woman answers. " thank you Gaby says before quickly leading Solo out and to the garden.
They here an odd sound of cars in the distance but think nothing of it. " no one's here. " Gaby says looking around. Solo starts looking around he soon walks to a spot where he can see the front of the hotel and sees Maria laying on the ground in blood. " Gaby, quick"he says before running over to Maria immediately assessing her injury Gaby follows. Gby notices that her bag is vibrating. " why is it just going off?! " She says pulling the device out of her bag. " Illya. " Maria coughs " what? " Solo asks " They took... Illya "
