I'll explain when I get there
I was home alone so I just sat at the kitchen counter waiting for him. A few minutes later there was a knock on my door.
I open it and Blake stands there with his eyes red and puffy.
"Blake what's wrong?"
He doesn't say anything, he just walks through the doorway and hugs me.
I understand he doesn't want to talk about it yet so I just keep hugging him.
He releases me and I shut the door while we walk to couch and sit down.
I grab his hand, "so what's wrong?"
"My, uh- My dad, he died last night in a car accident." He says with a tear falling.
"Oh, I'm sorry-"
"It's fine. Can we just not talk about it?" He says pulling me in to another hug.
I nod. I turn the tv on and put on Netflix and start the movie Tangled.
He lays on the couch and I lay with him watching the movie.
He rubs my back and I feel is steady heartbeat.
"I'm always here for you." I whisper to him.
"I know Serenity, I know." He says and we both end up falling asleep on the couch.
