That night, he was unable to sleep; Arin tosses and turns in bed. He turns his head to face the nightstand by his bed, which read 2:15 am. He sighs, pushing himself up; throwing the covers to the side. Arin moves his legs to hang off the side of the bed, then pushing himself off; His feet meeting the cold, hardwood floor. The patting of his feet hitting the floor as he walked into his living room was the only thing that made noise in his apartment. Arin goes to make himself a cup of hot tea, and picked out a movie to watch, hoping that he could fall asleep soon.

Arin pours the hot water into his favorite white mug, letting the tea sit, coloring the water a warm brown. He takes the mug and walks over to his little, worn out couch. The heat of the tea had radiated through the mug, warming Arin's cold fingers. The TV was at a low volume, but it was loud enough for Arin to still understand what the actors were saying. His eyes began to get heavier and heavier, but he still had not been able to close his eyes for a long period of time.

"Jesus..." He mutters to himself, setting the mug down.

Arin runs his fingers through his hair, his head falling back against the couch. He sighs, exasperated. He gets back up and turns off the TV. Slowly but surely, Arin grabs the mug, cleaning it before heading back to his room. He turns on the light and walks over to his desk, feeling a wave of depression hitting him. Arin falls into the chair, his hands over his eyes.

"Fuck this..." He spoke, voice breathy.

He sniffles, turning his chair to face the monitor on his desk. Arin begins rummaging through his drawers, looking for something to draw with. Luckily, he had found a black marker, and quickly, Arin had pulled out a notebook from under his keyboard, and started scribbling furiously.

---------------------------------------------------

Arin was awoken by the sound of his alarm going off. His body had shot up and he slips out his chair, hitting his arm on the edge of the desk. He groans in pain before getting off the ground.

"For fuck's sake." Arin says, voice groggy as he turns off the alarm switch on the side of the clock.

He rubs his eyes and walks over to his phone, which had been charging all night. He turns off 'Do Not Disturb' and lets the phone sit on the nightstand as he goes to brush his teeth. About on hour after he had left his room, he walks back in with a towel wrapped around his torso. Arin sits on the edge of the bed, slouched over with his head in his hands. He had felt like a total wreck this morning, and had began crying in the shower.

He sniffles, wiping the hot tears off his face, forcing himself to get dressed and get back to work. Overwhelmed with emotions, Arin couldn't bring himself to even turn on his monitor. Tears had begun forming in the corner of his eyes. He takes a deep breath before picking up his phone to call Suzy. Hesitant, Arin stares at Suzy's number on his phone screen, but forcefully pressed the call button and held the phone up to his ear. Tears had begun to fall down my cheeks.

"Hey-"

"Suzy, can you come over." he says, holding back from crying even more.

"Yes, of course. I'll be over as soon as possible, okay?" Suzy says, voice full of concern.

Arin nods, feeling himself cry harder. Suzy talks to him over the phone trying to calm Arin down.

"I'm getting into the car now. Arin, can you manage for five minutes until I get there?" Suzy says, gently.

"Y..Yeah." Arin says, in a hiccup.

"Okay, I'll be there soon. Wait in the living room." She says, her voice in almost a whisper.

"Tha..Thank yo..you." He spoke, finding it harder to speak.

The line drops, there's nothing but a mixture of silence and Arin's sobs. He wipes his face, and with a shaky, breath he had made himself get up and go wait in the living room for Suzy. He walks past the kitchen, not wanting to eat but slowly feeling an uncomfortable feeling in his stomach when he even thought about eating. He sits on the couch, grabbing a throw pillow to hold. He brings his knees closer, which let the pillow rest between his thighs, and chest. Arin buries his face in a separate pillow, feeling more tears fall down his face. A knock on his front door, had interrupted his train of thought.

Reluctant, Arin had gotten up to go answer the door. When he came face to face with Suzy, he begins to sob. Suzy pulls Arin into a comforting hug, closing the door behind her. She rubs small circles on his back, trying to find the words to say to make Arin feel safe. His tears seeping through Suzy's black blouse, burying his face on her shoulder. Suzy sits there until she hears Arins sobs come to a halt. He was fast asleep.
She wraps her arms around him and soon is fast asleep along with him. Arin needed the comfort of his best friend. She is the only one he can put all of his trust into.
