Undertale: The Inside Struggle

chapter 2

Frisk's pov
It's chara. She has control of asriel...and I'm afraid to some extent me as well." Said frisk
"Is that why you were having those strange visions and out burst?" Said sans
"I... think so? I don't know. It feels like it's a warning more than a vision. Like it's not set in stone... like I can change it." I said
"Frisk... what do we need to do?" Asked sans
"I don't know that either, but this me wants to have a happy ending. That's the one thing I'm certain about and determined to achieve." I said
"Well you heard the kid. This time guys... no one gets left behind." Said sans
As I got out of bed I grabbed my shirt and my pants and went to change. After I came out my first instinct was to dart for the door and immediately start my next quest. But sans used his power to lift me up and stop me.
"Just cause you saved us doesnt mean you get to leave us behind kiddo." Sans said
I looked at everyone as he lowered me to the ground. When I finally saw his face he looked at me and I could see it, they were all just as determined as me and all started to hug me. I really loved our moments like this I could feel everyones love and warmth. It was the thing that helped me come this far. It's what I worked so hard for...a family. As I looked around the room it seemed to get lighter and more colorful. Everytime I was with them this monotone world became full of color and emotion. It was a feeling I couldn't describe and now I was finally ready to complete my... no our happy ending.
"This world is a place where with you guys, we can make our own ending. We are not confined to one path, cause we have the free will and determination to light a new and better path. This is no longer about just one of us, this is about saving what we know and accepting the new and different things to come. So are you guys ready. No more giving up, no more breaking down, and no more wasted efforts from here on we have to face the consequences of our actions. This is it guys are you all ready?" I asked
As they all pulled away from the warmth of our hug I put my hand in the middle and then found many hands joining mine. Then I knew for good I wasn't alone. We all then went outside and as we walked through the door I looked down at the cobbled stones and sat down. The sun was shinning it was warm and the calming sounds of nature could be heard around us. We knew where we were going, so we needed a plan and to enjoy our last bit of time on the surface. We were going back to the underground to save everyone. I wouldn't leave a corner of the underground unchecked. This was it we were determined to get everyone who was stuck down there. We were going to have our happy ending no matter what. As we gathered around in our circle we sat down and I felt the grass and flowers tickle my bottom, hands and ankle. We all looked at each other and we all pretty much knew the plan.
"Lets wing it. I mean if we're going back to hell we might as well enjoy it." Said sans
Everyone looked around and started laughing. We were so serious we kinda forgot who we were. We would succeed even if we faced hard ship it wouldn't matter because we would get through it.
"Alright, alright. Lets get our things that we'll need before we go." Said Toriel in between giggles
Everyone jumped and went inside to grab the important things we would definitely need. I ran in and started going through my stuff and then found something I'd never seen before a silver heart locket. I opened it and there was a picture of asriel and someone who looked just like me...chara. I closed the locket and put it around my neck then down my shirt. I knew I'd give this back when the time was right. I ran outside with my bag and then everyone looked at me and smiled.
"Well lets go." I said
After that sans looked at me and his one eye started to glow blue and everyone floated up into the air. I looked at the ground as everything I became familiar with in the past year started to vanish. Soon enough we were above the clouds and it was something that could only be described if you saw it. The sunset with the clouds turning that orange tint was simply amazing then we all looked ahead and saw the mountian. We all looked at each other taking our last breath of fresh air that we would have in a while. We started in the mountains direction and soon were close to the entrance on top and then soon after landed at the top of the mountian. We all looked down at what seemed to be a bottomless pit and we all held our breath everyone tossed their bags down the hole and we waited several minutes to hear them crash, but we knew we wouldn't. We all looked at each other and everyone was frowning again. "Our optimism definitely just went down the hole with our bags huh?" Said papyrus
Everyone and myself included looked at him with their jaws on the floor as he actually made a funny joke and then after we all looked kinda happy again. I was determined not to let that mood come back and ran and grabbed sans hand then he looked down at me and smiled as we all soon joined hands. We were no longer scared of the hole. I looked around and only had one last thing to say.
"Alright mom, sans, papyrus, alphyus, undyne, mettaton, asgore. Everyone ready?" I asked
They all nodded with smiles on their face and then we counted down.
3,2,1 jump

And that's the end of chapter 2. Sorry for the wait guys I was spending a lot of missed time with my family and stuff so yeah. Thank you guys for waiting and being patient.
