She looked up afraid to see her "friend" Leilani waving her arms frantically in the air at her in the distance,

"Lía!" She called again, "your meters gonna run out! They're gonna tow your car!" She shouted,

"What?!" Lía shot up and ran, she could not afford to get her car towed, she heard sand crunching behind her as PJ ran behind her, surely enough as soon as she reached the meter it had less than a minute on it, "you couldn't put a quarter in Lani?" She laughed as she tried to catch her breath,

"We both know I'm broke" laughed Lani, she noticed PJ walk up behind Lia, his tan skin shining in the sun, he was holding their clothes, "nice meeting you again" she smirked, PJ looked embarrassed, Lani was known for being friendly with guys if you catch the drift,

"You guys met?" Asked Lía confused

"Yeah at the party" smirked Lani, Lani's family the Kaphala's were extremely close to hers and was considered family also, that must've been the girl she had seen PJ talking to,

"Oh..." Lía couldn't help but feel jealous, "well we've got to go...bye!" She hopped into the car, PJ following her, as soon as she backed out of the space she couldn't help but wonder out loud, "how well DO you know Lani?" She asked, he bit his cheek,

"Well uh...I..." He stuttered, "not very well...she's very...friendly isn't she?" He asked,

"You mean, slutty?" Lía laughed, he coughed nervously

"I don't think that's for me to say..." He muttered nervously

"It's ok, I know" she laughed, he laughed

"You didn't have to, it's very well known around here" she laughed, she was secretly relieved that he hadn't fallen victim to her seduction

"Do you think that the guys have noticed I left yet?" Asked PJ looking out of the window as they drove to Lías apartment,

"Probably, I'm surprised I haven't gotten an angry call from Joey threatening me" she rolled her eyes,

"Joey?" He asked

"Joe...oh I guess he's 'Roman' now" she rolled her eyes

"Why do you put up with him?" He asked curious

"I don't" laughed Lía "which is why I avoid him by all means"

"Makes sense...so uh...are you really gonna you know?" He asked

"Where's Lía? She was just at the gym with us and then disappeared"

"Ah that's Lía for you, she's probably down at the beach getting her run in, if not she's definitely in her apartment"
