When I woke up, I realized it was Friday. Which meant, the bonfire was tonight. Holy crap! I was already freaking out over what to wear, how to do my hair and how to do my makeup.

And, holy crap, Connor is taking me! Oh my god. Even worse. I'm already nervous and it's 6:00am. How am I going to be tonight? 'Calm down, idiot. You'll be fine.' I thought to myself.

I got through the first half of the day without thinking about the party, but by lunch time, I saw Connor and found myself worrying again. Emma noticed when he made his way to the table because she grabbed my hand and said,"Take a deep breath. Relax, and don't worry about it. You'l have fun and, maybeeee.... you'll get a little kiss!" She said before Connor got to the table.

I laughed and started to eat my lunch that consisted of an apple, bag of carrots, and a container of ravioli. Along with a bottle of water. No wonder I was skinny. I hardly ate anything.

Connor sat down at the table and smiled at us. "Hey Al. You excited for tonight?" I nervously chuckled and said, "Yeah. Totally, like soooo excited." I playfully smacked his arm but apparently I hit too hard because he winced in pain and rubbed it. "Al. Listen, you don't have to go if you don't want to. We could just go to your house and watch movies instead." I shook my head.

"No. I'm not ruining this for you, just because I'm scared of going to a party. I'm going. You're taking me. End Of. Story." I smiled at him and continued to eat. We spent the rest of lunch joking around and having fun. Something we haven't done in a while and I really missed it.

I got inside my room and threw my books and backpack on my desk and collapsed onto my bed, exhausted.

I decided it was a good idea to get a shower. After I got in, I made sure I shaved all of the necessary parts and finished. Once I was out, I walked to my closet. I stood in front of it, looking at the different clothes that I had. After feeling defeated, I texted Emma to tell her to get her butt over here and help me decide what to wear.

Emma got to my house in like two minutes, and ran upstairs. Huffing, she sat down on my bed. "Holy crap. You have a lot of steps." I laughed at her and shook my head. I dropped the towel and put on a matching bra and thing set on. Okay, Okay. They weren't matching, they were just close to the same color.

"Ali. Tonight it's gonna be busy, alcoholic, and cold. So, I think you should wear these. This shirt and zip-up hoodie." She threw the clothes at me and pushed me to the bathroom to get dressed.

I shut the door and looked at the clothes she picked out. A maroon deep cut v-neck shirt, and my most expensive, ripped light wash skinny jeans and my gray sip-up thin hoodie.

"Nice clothes, Em. I like it!" I yelled through the door. She laughed and I swear I could feel the smirk on her face. I put the clothes on and walked out. Showing her, she approved and told me to put my silver infinity necklace on. I did as she said and she smiled.

I walked into my bathroom and Emma followed. I started doing my makeup while Em sat on the toilet watching. No, she wasn't using it she was just sitting on it. I got my curling iron out and turned it to the right temperature and started brushing my hair.

I looked at Emma and said,"Hey Em? Can I ask you something?" She nodded while looking at her IPhone. "I really like Connor. Do you think he will do anything tonight.... like kiss me?" I had told her about the whole coffee shop thing and what he was telling me when we got back to my car.
