AUBREY

The next morning we woke up and made our way to Ellenwood. Its been a while since I been out here but I still remember my way around. I directed Cedes , who was driving, the way to his house. The three story mansion was surround by a tall gate. we pulled in and the gate automatically opened. I figured we would have to call through but I guess not. We drove up the long driveway leading to his  house. When we finally reached his luxurious three story home we jumped out of the car and rang the doorbell. He came to the door in Ralph Lauren polo pajamas and a wife beater.  Spade was a very young guy but had a wise mind as an elderly person. He wasn't bad looking at all. He never stepped out of the house looking tacky. He always had his things together.

"Aubrey I've been expecting you" he spoke while pulling me into a hug.

"How did you know I was coming?" I asked as he motioned for us to come inside.

He chuckled while locking the door "the streets always talk sweetie".

"Yea you're right. By the way this is Quincy, Cedes, and Tank." I said introducing them

"Nice to meet you" he replied while shaking each of the guys hands.  "Now tell me what's going exactly. Even though the streets talk there is always another view of the story" he said walking through the foyer then into the living room.

His living room was decorated in all black in white. Spade had a very exquisite taste in home interior décor. We sat on the black sectional while he sat across in a black chair that was directed towards us. we all proceeded to explain our situation carefully making sure to not leave out any details.  After we finished reciting all of the incidents he tapped on his neatly shaved chin with a serious look on his face.

"So you said there are guys that live in Cali that survived?" he questioned and I nodded my head. "I think I could help you out. follow me." he replied while getting up and walking down the hall to a room that looked like a computer lab. He sat he computer desk that was farthest from the door and we all stood behind him while he began to type things in his computer. He researched police reports and death certificates that were all tied up with the war between the two gangs. I never knew so much was involved with this case.  He stopped looking when he came across some files that had different names listed than the ones on the death certificates he found previously. The three names were John Neal, Malachi Higgins, and Vincent Norelli. He searched the guys and they were all located in Calistoga, California.

"Well here are the survivors you guys were looking for." he said while pointing to his computer "Enable for you to set up a meeting with them you are going to have to go to Cali then contact them. They wouldn't want to have to wait. As you can see here they are all pretty wealthy owners of Cigar companies all over the world. Their schedules are busy but you may can squeeze in if you leave tomorrow."

"Tomorrow is perfect" Quincy stated before pulling out his wallet giving Spade a wad of cash.

Spade politely rejected the money "No need. You guys are going to need me again sooner than you think."

With that being said we all said thank you then left. We jumped back in the car and Tank was driving back. Quincy and I was sitting in the back seat. As we were driving on the interstate I noticed a black suburban in the rearview mirror. When Tank changed lanes so did the vehicle. I tapped Quincy's arm and pointed to the mirror. he cursed under his breath and told Tank to speed up. Tank did as told and the car sped up also.  A few moments later the car bumped us and we almost swerved off the lane. Tank got the car back in track while the suburban sped off the nearest exit.

"There goes another warning" I spoke. We drove back home in complete silence. It was awkward but everyone was in deep thought. Once we reached Atlanta Quincy told  Tank to drive to all of the trap houses so he could check them. Everything seemed to be fine so we went bac to Quincy's house and chilled out for a while.

"Did you book the flight?" I asked facing Quincy.

"Yeah, I have the room reservations done also. We need to leave by 5:00 because our flight is at 7:30.  Everyone needs to get packed and be here in a hour. Ya'll can just sleep over so they wont catch us slipping separately. " he spoke.

I walked upstairs and packed my bag then went downstairs to see Quincy standing outside on the back porch smoking a blunt. I walked near him and rubbed his back. he looked down at me and smiled weakly. His once bright eyes were now dark. you could tell that he was stressed due to the dark circles that has formed beneath his eyes.

"Everything is going to be fine." I assured him.

"Hopefully." He replied before he leaned down and kissed my lips. I was shocked at first and slightly pulled away. He looked at me confused until I gently pulled his chin and met my lips with his. We walked back in the house and went are separate ways into our bedrooms. Even thought I would love to sleep in the same room as Quincy it's not the right moment and we must get to know each other better.
