Life is like waves in an ocean, coming and going back. They flow towards us, give us a moment to anticipate and imagine what would it be like as the waves touch us. And as they do, they make us feel a tickle, give us a moment of peace, brings that beautiful curve on our faces. We feel alone; but alone in peace. We have the world surrounding us, watching us, observing our moves, our expressions. But we are alone, in that moment. A moment of less than a minute, where all our beautiful thoughts take charge, occupy our minds with the good things. In that moment we find ourselves. We connect with ourselves. This moment feels like eternity. With our eyes closed we see the world, we see the world with our heart. In that very moment we are moved by the beauty that we feel, the beauty that is always around us but we never really see it. And that moment where we connect, feel, realise, think, see, move, shiver, make peace with the wars going on inside us, lasts. As it has to. The waves that were below our feet go away. Far far away. As it came it didn't include anything, yet it awakened so much inside us, but eventually after the awakening, the waves return. For they aren't meant to stay forever. Just like life.
