See You Again

chapter 14

Emmas POV

We were on the subway and there were sadly no seats so me and Lucas were standing up and suddenly the subway got to a curve and a little kid bumped it my leg and I completely lost balance so I was falling forward and Lucas caught me but it became really awkward because are lips touched for a second and once again I felt those sparks and this time they were stronger.

We both smiled nervously.We finally got home and we walked till are houses and since my family was eating dinner at his place we just went straight to his house.

When we walked in all the parents were at the dimming room table talking waiting for us .

We sat down and of course the parents did what parents always do sit us in front of each other it was a little awkward for like 2 seconds and I decided to try and break the ice by saying

What did you think about history class today?

I found it interesting

Me too it kinda looked like he based the lessons on are lives

Mr M always does that that's way he's Riley favorite teacher apart from the fact that he's her dad

Oh cool

When's your boyfriend coming to New York?

In 2 weeks

Oh right I heard you talk to him on the phone

I hope you like him he's going to come to school

I hope so too

It's weird to see how close we've gotten in 3 days like not weird you get what I mean

Yeah totally

After that we just talked about the usual things for the rest of the dinner.

At the end of the dinner we were all saying goodbye and me and Lucas hugged and those sparks came back.

Lucas POV

Emma just left and my mom just popped up and said

you two would make a cute couple

MOM

What I'm just saying

She has a boyfriend !

Oh well does he go to school with you?

No he lives in California but is moving here in 2 weeks

Well that's great news Emma sweetheart but you seem kinda depressed over him moving here

It's nothing I'm just tired good night
