Chapter 9 : Partners In Crime
Elle’s POV
I slowly opened my eyes on a much comfortable bed than mine with sunlight streaming through the curtains , making me partially narrow my eyes .
I turned over and sunk deeper into the bed , because my head started to hurt bad .
“ Get up kitten ” a husky voice said , right beside my ear .
This made me shoot up from the bed and I looked around , taking in the surroundings .
This definitely isn’t my bedroom .
My vision was blurred as it slightly adjusted to view the person who sat right in front of me .
Even through my dazed vision , I could make out a mop of brown messy curls along with a familiar grin .
Harry .
Surprisingly , I didn’t scream and stayed rational .
“ Where exactly am I ? ” I asked , my voice hoarse and scratchy .
“ My room ” he stated .
Normally I would have transformed in another whole new version of the most ferocious power ranger , but I stayed calm .
Each sound managed to increase the intensity of the throbbing in my head .
“ Hey , I’m Lexie ” a cheerful voice said .
She was short , with spiky hair and an extremely wide mischievous grin .
For some reason it felt like she was going to be my partner in crime for the pranks in the future .
She held out a glass of water along with a tablet of Advil .
“ Thanks ” I said , and it came out more like a rough murmur .
“ Why exactly am I in your room ? ” I asked Harry , who still had a cheeky grin on .
