I had just started on my second paragraph when a boy with long brown hair bounded in. He was wearing a dark red Nike T-shirt, light wash boot cut jeans and pure white adidas.
Rory was a good person, but not such a good writer. So I assigned him to sports, as the only people reading that would have a lower IQ than a 3 year old. So they couldn't really pick up on his incorrect grammar. Once someone in the rugby team asked me how to spell 'pear'.
You could faintly hear 'Bang Bang' through his headphones as he handed me his article for this week. I scanned it and gave it him back.
"You didn't write this" I said without making Eye contact.
"Yeah, I did." He replied pushing it back to me.
"We don't go to brickhouse college" I said passing it back with a sarcastic smile.
"Urgg, fine. I'll rewrite it" he said
"You mean actually write it?"
"Yeah..." He trailed off.He sat down and opened up 'Word' and started typing up an article of this weeks scores and players.
About 20 minutes later the first period bell went. I logged off and made my way to geography.
3 periods later it was lunch. I grabbed a tofu wrap and made my way to the school council meeting. I hadn't chosen to join school council. It's just the captain of every club. I would never choose to spend an hour in a room full of these horrible people.
There was:
Mary George - Head of cheerleaders, most popular girl in school and probably the meanest.Noah Downsworth - Rugby captain, most popular boy in school. Had the perfect strobe light relationship with Mary (what a surprise).
Jennifer Wright - Celicably club. Mary's best friend and the Caren Smith of Clarityfield.
Darren Killian - Football team. Noah's best friend.
Hillary Lions - Book club.
Ryan (the storm) Oberlin - Gamers.
Omar Jones - Orchestra.
Sugar Willian - Choir.
And me,
Laura Black - School Newspaper.
"Let the hell commence" I muttered under my breath.
Thankyou for reading!
Lots of love, Nessa X
