Little Bella (EDITING!!)

Chapter two

"What do you mean by you live by yourself?" Edward Asked putting me down on a table.

"Well I have no other family that lives in this state; so I live by myself." I say looking down playing with my fingers embarrassed.

"Bella look at me, you know you need to live with someone or you will have to to to foster care." Edward says as I shake my head back and forth; I don't wanna go to foster care.

"I don't wanna go to foster care." I say still looking down as Edward puts a hand under my chin and pulls my head up so I face him.

"You have to." He says

"But I don't wanna!" I say trying not to cry. "If anyone adopts me I want You guys too!" I say as Edwards face goes blank.

"Esme!" Edward says looking away and Esme comes in.

"Yes?" She asked.

"Can I talk to you and Carlisle alone please?" Edward asked.

"Um sure" she says as Edward gets up and I grab his arm.

"Don't leave, please stay." I say as Edward sits back down pulling me onto his lap.

"Esme, Bella doesn't want to go to foster care; she wants us to adopt her." Edward whispers fast.

"Let me talk to Carlisle and I'll let you know. Until then she can stay with us in the extra room near your room." Esme whispers back fast.

"Ok, I'll take her up there after Carlisle looks at her leg." Edward whispers back fast. Why are they whispering?

"Edward, my leg hurts." I say "and I'm hungry"

"It's gonna be okay Carlisle will fix your leg, I'll have Esme get you some Mac-and-cheese" he says

"Okay" I say as he plays with my hair. Is it appropriate for me to be attracted to a teenager I barely know?

"Bella I need to check on your leg now." Carlisle says as I stink my leg out still on Edwards lap.

"Your leg is twisted bad so you will need crutches for one month." Carlisle says

"Is there anything else besides crutches I can use?" I ask Carlisle as Esme comes in with Mac-and-Cheese.

"Sorry but no." He says as I look down eating my food.

"But I don't want crutches, if I go to school with crutches my teacher will see them and take them from me and hit me more because I told someone."

"No one is gonna hurt you okay Bella." Edward tells me as I finish my food and Carlisle wraps my foot up with bandage.

"My teacher will. I don't wanna go to school anymore!" I say pouting as Edward chuckles

"Bella how about we make a deal. We will adopt you if you promise to use the crutches." Carlisle says as I look up smiling.

"Deal!" I say jumping down to hug Carlisle but I only fall instead and Edward picks me up.

"You need to be careful Bella" Edward tells me sitting me back down.

"Okay" I say "I forgot to tell you I'm really clumsy" I mumble.

"It's fine Bella, just be Careful." Carlisle says. "Would you like to see the room you will be staying in?"

"Yes!" I say shaking my head up and down as Edward Laughs.
