Trouble In Paradise.

*next day*

"I can't believe you ran from him." Jess says taking her coffee off the counter.

"What was I suppose to do?" I ask.

"Stay, and see what would happen."

"No, that's crazy."

I glanced up from the counter and saw my manager Kevin walking over towards me. "Good afternoon ladies, are we working or talking with friends?" He asks in a harsh tone.

"Working obviously." I answer as he walks out back.

"He's annoying." Leah says as she starts to move away.

"Agreed. When do you get off?" Jess asks me.

"Like in an hour or so. Why do you ask?"

"Okay, we will wait for you, we will just walk around the mall next door." She's says before leaving with Leah.

I walked over to the sink and grabbed a cloth to start wiping the counter off. I walked around to the front of the counter and started to wipe it clean. I felt a slight tap on my arm,

"excuse me mam' may I get something?"

"Yes sure, ill be with you in one second." I say as I finish up the counter I get behind it as fast as I could throwing the cloth into the sink on the way.

"What would you like?" I ask the kind old lady in front of me.

"I would like a.. sweetened decafé please." She answers pulling money out of her clutch.

"Alright." I say making her drink. I finish and set it on the counter. "Here you go."

"Thanks sweetie." She says passing me five dollars, and walks away.

'Wow almost a three dollar tip' I thought to myself. I stood there just waiting for the next customer, I leaned against the counter, I heard the door ring open. 'Shit!' I said outloud. 'It's Liam.' I calmed down and tried to act normal. He walked towards the counter and gave me a shy smile. 'Oh how pathetic' I thought.

"Hi what would you like to order?" I ask him, as he looks deep into my eyes.

"I would like something hot and steamy." He says glancing down on me.

"Decafé, original?"

"Oh sorry, I mean I want you hot and steamy." He says leaning on the counter. My stomach started to feel weak, and my cheeks started to heat up. Liam reached across the counter and grabbed my waist, he pulled me in towards him. He kissed my neck, "Go out with me tonight." He whispers into my ear before kissing my neck again. I try to pry his arm off my but it wouldn't budge.

"No." I answer finally getting his arm off me.

"That wasn't a question." He stood there staring at me with a stupid smirk.

"Talking again I see." I heard as Kevin walked out of the backroom.

"This isn't a friend." I snapped at him, liam laughed, Kevin shook his head and walked away.

"Ordering or not?" I ask Liam.

"Nope, so I'll pick you up around seven though." He says before walking towards the door.

"No. I'm not going with you!" I yell at him. He turns around and winks at me, which sends shivers down my spine.

"Goddamnit." I say as I rub my forehead.

"Sam!" I heard Kevin yell from across the room.

"What?"

"Go clean out the mixers."
