"Liam!" I yelled as I ran across the street towards him, trying to get the guy to stop hitting him.

I got to the alleyway and kept running towards them, I felt someone grab me. My arms were brought behind my back, I turned around and looked at some strange guy.

"Ugh! Let go of me!" I yell.

The guy punching Liam turned and looked at me. Logan. A smirk appeared on his face, as he wipes his forhead off. I looked at Liam, his eye swollen, his lip all bloody. I looked away towards the ground beside me, I couldn't stand to look at him.

"Well, look at this." Logan said chuckling.

"Don't.. touch.. her.." Liam said with what energy he had left.

"Huh? What was that liam?" Logan said as he turned around, and punched him again.

"No!" I said wiggling around trying to get my arms lose, I couldn't get him to budge.

Logan swung again at Liam, hitting hit over and over. I turned around and faced the guy, I kneed him in the groin. He let go of my arms and collapsed to the ground.

"Stop!" I say jumping in front of Logan.

He laughed in my face but I still didn't move.

"Back off." I demand.

"Oh come on baby, what are you doing with a guy like Liam? You know I would treat you so much better.." he said as he reached for my waist. I pushed him away, he laughed a bit. "Oouh, I like a girl who's rough." He winked and pulled me into him, he leaned down and tried to kiss me. I rose my hand and slapped him right across the face. He looked back at me, than turned to Liam. He was beyond pissed.

"So you need a woman to protect you there eh Payne?" Logan chuckled, then clenched his fists.

Liam stood up and starting stumbling towards us. Liams fists were clenched and he was ready to fight again. I wasn't going to let that happen to him, so I pushed him back. It was the easier than I thought it would have been. strange. It might of been the alcohol running through his system, or he had a change in heart. I'm thinking it was just the alcohol.

"Liam quit it." I say, looking back towards Logan. He just gave me that stupid smirk, which sent shivers down my spine. I turned towards Logan, "Just leave, would you."

Logan surprisingly shoved his hands in his pockets and walked away.

"This isn't it Payne!" He yelled back before disappearing. "Oh and you too babe." He winks at me before walking around a corner. I could hear him laugh, but I couldnt see him. Liam starting walking towards where Logan went. It made him mad just the thought of what Logan said.

"Liam, don't." I said as I grabbed ahold of his arm. "Liam," I repeated, I took my other hand place it on his cheek. I turned his face towards me. I walked in closer to him, "stop." I whisper to him, I walked him carefully as his anger started to slowly cool down. After I thought he was calm enough, I let go of his face, and let out a deep breathe.

I walked him reach into his pocket and pull out his keys. "L-let's go. I'll d-drive." He slurred. I laughed and snatched the keys out of his hand.

"Of course you will." I say sarcastically.

Liam grabbed my hand and lead me to where he parked his car. I unlocked it and climbed behind the wheel.

"Whoa, far enough back?" I say pulling the seat closer to the wheel. I hear Liam chuckle as I put the key in the ignition.

"Where we g-going?" Liam asks, slurring his words a bit.

"Your place." I answer. I looked over at Liam and he was pretty content, calm.
