A Clexa Christmas Story

Tessa's first Christmas

3rd person POV

Clarke stumbles into the room barely awake to find Lexa making breakfast for herself and Clarke. Tessa was upstairs sleeping in her crib. Clarke walked over to the unaware Lexa and rapped her arms around her waist.

"Good morning baby." Clarke says with a smile.

"Hey, how are you feeling?"Lexa leans over a places a kiss on her forehead. Lexa turns around in Clarke's arms.

"Okay i'm starting to feel better. The cough has gone away." Clarke answers with a smile.

"Good, what a pancake?" Lexa asks.

Just as Clarke is about to answer they hear Tessa making garbled talking noises. Clarke turns around and walks upstairs to get Tessa up and dressed. Tessa was one year old and could almost walk around the house. Carrying Tessa down stairs, Clarke had changed her and was put her in her chair to have cereal.

"How's my baby girl." Lexa says kissing and cuddling Tessa. Tessa begins to giggle and tries to pull one of Lexa's braids.

"Hey thats mommy's hair." Lexa and Clarke laugh together.

"Go to mom Tessa." Lexa puts Tessa on her feet gently. Tessa makes a garbled noise and tries to take a few steps towards Clarke but starts to wobble. Tessa Starts to whimper as she falls. Clarke reaches forward to catch her just as Tessa is about to fall over.

"Do you want some food." Clarke asks in a funny voice making Tessa and Lexa smile.

After breakfast Tessa's aunts Raven and Octavia were supposed to come over to babysit Tessa so Clarke and Lexa could go Christmas shopping. And maybe even dinner after.

Raven and Octavia pull into the drive way of their house and see Lexa with Tessa playing in the snow. It had began to snow two months earlier ,but that was normal they lived in Minnesota after all. Tessa enjoyed sitting in the snow and trying to eat as much as possible when Lexa wasn't looking.

"TESSA!!" Octavia squealed from the car. She ran out of the car over to where Tessa was sitting trying to consume snow. Tessa smiled with a mouth full of snow. Lexa turned around from the pile of snow that looked somewhat like a chubby snowman.

"Hey guys your early." Lexa says as she sees Octavia pick up a wiggling Tessa. "Are you eating snow again?" Lexa asks quietly laughing.

"Tessa tell mommy that you can't help yourself it just tastes so good." Raven says as she pulls Lexa in for a hug. They all begin to walk into the house, Raven now carrying Tessa.

"Clarke, Raven and Octavia are here!" Lexa shouts up the stairs.

"I'll be right down i'm just getting all of her stuff out in cause she needs to change or wants to take a nap!" Clarke yells back down the stairs.

"Tell mom we won't be taking any naps today, we're going to party!" Octavia says as she tickles Tessa and helps Raven take her little white snowsuit off. Tessa giggles and crawls away.

Clarke comes down the stairs wearing a sweater and jeans. She walks over to Raven and Octavia to give each of them a long hug.

"Well you guys are early, whats up?" Clarke asks as they all move toward where Tessa is playing and sitting in a circle around her.

"Well... Lincoln and I are pregnant!" Octavia says almost yelling.

"Congrats!" Clarke and Lexa say at the same time. Octavia and Lincoln had been married for four years and had never decided to have kids yet so this news was amazing.
