Chapter 7

~never underestimate the ones you cannot see~

Diana's P.O.V.

As Ashton opens the car door for me, I notice a sudden buldge in his pants as he helps me out of my seat. I wonder... His muscles glisten in the sunlight, whilst his veins pop up from his arms...almost ready to burst thru his skin. Oh my god!!

"You know the drill. I'll be right back," he remarks as he lets me inside and locks the door as he steps outside. I sit on the couch, trying to comprehend his previous requests.

What the fuck does he mean? What drill is he talking about?

"What are you doing?! Get going! You know the drill," a voice commands as I lift my head to see my host's spirit. I stare at her, my eyes turning crimson red with anger. She floats away from me, afraid of what I might do.

"Do I look like I know the damn drill?!" I fire at her. Is she still unaware that I am still getting used to Ashton?! I cannot believe she is being so self centered!!

"Ugh! I forgot about your level of stupidity," she sneers. A lifeless body lays on the couch as my soul rises from my host's body. She drops to the floor as I punch her harder than I ever have. That felt really good!!

I sigh angrily as I hear Ashton making his way to the door. I jump back to the body where I'm now sitting up straight.

"It seems that you've gotten disobedient," he croaks. I stare up at him wondering what is he talking about.

"You know the damn drill!!" His voice booms through the room. By this time, I can feel my blood boiling in my body.

"What has gotten into you?" He yells at me. "I am sick and tired of this Alina!" And that's where I lose it.

Ashton jumps back to the wall as my eyes glow a crimson red colour. I scream in pain as black wings emerge from my back. I surprise myself as I begin to rise and float in the air.

"My name is Diana!!" I scream at him as he is still lost for words.

"Never call me that again! This is the 3rd and last warning! I am sick of your attitude! Always bossing me around, but I've had-" I'm suddenly cut off. Who the he'll is the smart person who interrupted?!

I look to my side to be faced with Alina. Figures!

"A-Alina? Baby is that you?" Ashton says, barely able to speak. I internally vomit at his sudden display of affection. Love makes me sick!

(A/N: mind anyone who is reading this, who else agrees that romance and horror fit perfectly?!)

Now I feel light headed. I fall to the ground as my wings just blow away like they were made of dust.just before my eyes close, I see Alina rushing to my side... then I completely black out. The last thing I hear is Ashton dialing 911.

~time lapse~

"This is very unusual," he continues on. Trying to get up, I since in pain as my entire body refuses to work with me. Technically, it's Alina's body...but you know what I mean!

I turn my head away, grunting as I avoid a bright light shone directly in my eyes. Where the hell am I? Am I back in heaven? Soon enough, my thoughts begin crashing back in my conscience.

Wait a minute? I'm in the damn hospital?! How the hell did I get here?!

"Will she be alright, doc?" A familiar voice asks, not to far from the room I'm in. As best as I can, I try to get up from my spot...which btw, mind you, took all the energy I had remaining!

But I guess I didn't have to. I see a doctor walking in, Ashton and Alina's spirit alongside him. Alina races to my side, and slowly caresses my cheek. I slowly flick her away, as she floats back to Ashton's side.

"Well, it looks like she'll have to stay for observations," the doctor repeats. Suddenly I feel a rush of energy thru me as I jolt to be sitting up.

"I'm perfectly fine! I don't need to stay here," I add as everyone turns their attention to me.

But the last thing I see is Ashton's face... Then I completely black out...
