Myself, Marigold and Jadis sit upon our beds, warm and dry. "Hey, Jadis" I say.

"Yes?" She replies, looking up from her bed covers.

"You know, I am rather anxious about the operation, are you?"

"Hell yeah! Why wouldn't I be?" Marigold cuts in: "Not the fact that you look invincible and completely unaffected by any of the challenges!"

"Oi! I just try not to think about it, that's all, and besides by trying not to show it, makes you feel a lot more confident about yourself. Oh by the way. Are you two coming with Alec and Johnny later?"

"Ooohhh hello ALEC! I will do anything if he's there, yep I am in!" Marigold says laughing foolishly.

"What are we even doing later?" I ask laughing with her.

"Going to the gym, to muck around! You in?"

"Um- yeah why not!"

"Great!"

"I CANNOT WAIT TO SEE HIS FACE!"

"Marigold CALM YOURSELF!" Jadis says, "though I can see your point, though Johnny, just Johnny though"

"You guys are as bad as each other!"

"Says you!" They both say.

"Who am I kidding? I KNOW!" I say. We all giggle like children before a knock on the door sounds.

"Oh they are early!" Marigold says excitedly. Jadis signals for us to be quiet as she opens the door. Johnny is leaning on the door frame. "Hey, you ready?" He says in a deep, manly voice. Jadis smiles and says "Yeah, will just be one sec" she turns around to face us and gestures for us to get up, though she is blushing slightly. Marigold exits first and joins Alec, I am second to exit, and Jadis last with Johnny. As we walk towards the gym I hear a shout from nearby, and it catches my attention, so I tell the four that I will catch them up in a minute or two, with the excuse of my leaving behind my water bottle in the dorm. I slowly slip from the group and as they turn the corner, I break into a run. I follow the sounds of shouting, they lead me to a large silver door, much like all the others in this place. Though this one seems to have similar to that of the tank room, glass either side of the door. I sneak a look and immediately wish I hadn't. A man sits tied to a metal chair so tightly that blood rings are forming around his wrists, he bears a grin upon his face. And a tall figure cloaked in black, and reveals none of their features, circles him like that of an eagle before catching its prey. Although a glimpse was enough, I can't resist another look, and this time, I listen to the words that are being spoken. The first line I hear is that of a woman's voice: "What do you know about, those of whom possess the blood of a God. A major God. Zeus, to be specific?" A dirty laugh mockingly leaves the man's mouth. He says nothing.

"SPEAK!" The woman demands. Her voice sounds oddly familiar, yet I cannot fully establish why that is.

"Ha, I speak only to those I can see, it's not use talking to someone that I cannot see, now is it?" The man lets another laugh escape his lips.

"As you wish, though I should warn you, to never speak to me so again!" The hooded figure steps forward, with her back to the glass and takes down her hood. "Now SPEAK!"

"Oh how very rude of you! I too don't like bad manners" he tuts.

"Would you like me to tighten those chains? Because I will quite happily!"

"Pushy. Now what was the question? Oh yes. Of course." He clears his throat dramatically, "Those of the bloodline of Zeus are VERY powerful. They just have to simply be a daughter or son of one of his sister's, son's, daughter's, brother's to be classed as the bloodline of Zeus."

"Skip the prologue" The lady says angrily.

"Alright! The prologue is the best bit. Ugh, anyway. Hem. Oh yes. Those of the bloodline of Zeus are a BIIIIG threat to you Mortica. A very big threat they are"

"You know not to call me Mortica, commoner"

"Oh my apologies. They are a BIIIIG threat to you MISTRESS! Oh and I am no commoner you should know that, shouldn't you?"

The Mistress. That's why I recognised her. She lets out a roar of anguish. And as she does so, I quickly hide my face away from the glass part, as to not be seen. Once a flash of light has appeared and dispersed, I look back through the glass, and see that the strange man is no longer present, and all that is to be seen is the dark clothed lady walking away from the empty chair. My heart was in my mouth. I rest my back against the door for a few seconds, before realising that that is probably not the best idea, seeing as what I had just witnessed. Instead I get up and run as far and as quickly from the door as I could. I run towards the gym and swing open the doors with such a force that they bang loudly against the walls. There are little people in there, considering the hour of the door, so it is not hard to spot the group. I run over to them and scan them for James. I find him, run over and recount all that has just happened. His face becomes serious, and all I can think to do, is to hug him. James looks down at me, and opens his arms slightly, gesturing to hug him, I do. I can feel his muscles underneath his shirt, and I feel his strong arms around my back, encasing me, protecting me from everything and anything. As we pull apart, something occurs to me that I failed to notice before. Jadis is standing next to Johnny rather closely. As we turn, Johnny kisses her cheek and my hands fly to my face, in complete shock of cuteness. James nudges me and we laugh as Marigold says "I KNEW IT!" Whilst Harlequin runs out of the room, clearly in a mess of emotions about Johnny. Katherine follows her as do May and Maia. No matter how small the gesture, it definitely lightens the mood, well at least for myself and James it does! Soon the day is to be out and we head back to our dormitories. As we three girls lay in our beds, Jadis is smiling up at the ceiling and so is Marigold. I am also, though it is also shadowed a little by fear. However, I will not let this show, and so continue to allow the happy feeling to be in control of my body as it sends itself to sleep.
