Chapter 15

Briona's POV

3months later ..
I had an appointment this morning so I got up around 7. I went into Mason's room to get him up and dressed. I'm 5 months pregnant and I'm huge . I often feel miserable. Mason has been living with us ever since the night we picked him up. We are currently fighting a custody battle which should be ending soon. I'm so in love with Mason , I think of him as my own. He calls me mommy and I do not mind.

I struggled to get him out of bed because he wanted to be carried I picked him up and carried him to the bathroom so he could brush his teeth. He stood on his little chair and starting brushing his teeth. While he brushed his teeth I went to get him out some clothes. I got him out some light blue jeans, his white shirt with the glasses on them , and his chuck Taylors.

He was brushing his teeth so he came in the room and I got him dressed. We went downstairs to fix him some breakfast . We fixed him a bowl of cereal and he went into the living room and sat at his little table to eat.

I walked back upstairs to see Major still sleeping . Ugh, he knows we have to go. I just let him sleep. I went into the bathroom, did my hygiene and came out. I put on my pink and gray maxi dress ,my blue jean vest, and my white and gray sandals. I put on my silver hoops , and my Love me necklace. I left my hair curly because fooling with it would be a struggle. I looked back at a still sleeping major. I walked to the side of his bed and sat next to him and started kissing him .

"Major baby, get up sexy." I said kissing on his neck . He started groaning and he opened his eyes.

"you gone start some shit you can't finish girl." He said in his sexy sleepy voice. I had to move away because I felt myself getting wet. He laughed . I guess he knew what I was thinking .

He got out the bed and went into the bathroom. I went downstairs and seen Mason playing with his toys. "come on baby , lets get ready to go." He got up and grabbed his bowl and brought it to me . I put it in the sink and fixed his clothes. We stood by the door waiting for Major to come down.

10 minutes later Major came down and we was ready to head out the door. I made him stop at Taco bell to get me a breakfast grande supreme.

We pulled up and ordered. We got to the window and the girl was smiling all hard at Major. I just laughed when she mugged me .

"Hey sweety, would you like his number?" I asked . She looked confused. I grabbed a pen and wrote his number on the back of the receipt. "here you go." She took the number and smiled at it. We grabbed the food and drove off. "Wtf was that for?" He asked looking like he wanted to slap me. "she wanted your number so I gave it to her." He looked at me and shook his head. " its up to you if you answer or not. I never promised her you would pick up." He started laughing ."you some else."

We pulled up at the doctor in under 20 minutes. We all got out the car and walked into the clinic. Mason was holding my hand. He was getting compliments the whole time we were waiting.

Not long after we arrived the doctor called us back . "Are you guys ready to know the sex." He asked . We nodded yes. The first two times the baby was being stubborn and wouldn't open their legs so we never got to see the sex but hopefully we have luck this time.

"Look here... it seems to be we have a little girl growing here." He said. I looked at major and he was smiling . I love his smile its so warm .

"Mason your gonna have a little sister." I said he started smiling. "I be a best big brudah. " he said I started laughing and nodded.

"Well Mrs. Ray congratulations, let me go get your next ts appointment and you will be good to go." I nodded

"how you feel baby?" I asked while playing in his dreads. "I got to deal with two of y'all mfers." He said I started laughing. "Two Briona's. Oh hell no ." He said I bust out laughing and rubbed his face. "Its okay baby." I said as I kissed him he kissed back.

10 minutes later the doctor came back with my next appointment and we left the clinic. I was getting hungry again so we went to Logan's Roadhouse to eat. We walked in and asked for a booth with a booster seat. We went to our booth and they brought mason a booster.

"Mason what you wanna do for your birthday ?" I asked him.

"I wanna have a party mommy." I looked at major and he nodded.

" okay baby you going to have a party."

We talked more about the party then our waiter came. "Hi, I'm Sarah and I'll be your waiter today . Could I start you guys off with some drinks?" She said .

"Yes, I would like a sweet tea and get him a lemonade. Babe what you want?"" Give me a coke." He said . Okay ill be right back with y'all drinks. We looked over the menus to see what we would order and everything looked good but I wanted the chicken strips with mashed potatoes and extra side of fries.

She came back with our drinks. " okay are you guys ready to order?" She asked

"yes ill have the chicken strips with mashed potatoes and an extra side of fries." She wrote it down in her notebook . "And he'll have the kids meal of fish extra hush puppies." I said for mason.

"And I'll have the roadhouse burger with fries." Major said. She wrote down our orders and took our menus.

10 minutes later she came back with our food. "so when do you wanna have his party?" I asked major . He shrugged. "We should do it the weekend before his birthday. " he nodded "Aight"

We finished eating and left. I started getting a weird feeling something was gonna happen. I looked back at Mason who was sleeping on the back seat.

"lets hurry up and get home, some ain't right babe. " he looked at me but didn't question. He flew down the highway and to his house. We still don't live together but we're looking for a bigger house currently. I still have my house but I'm barely there.

We pulled up at his house and I could feel something wasn't right. It's been quiet for the past couple a months so I know this feeling isn't something I should just dismiss.

I got out the car and major got mason. I walked up to the door and opened it . Only to step inside and have a gun pointed to my head.

"Bitch you move, I blow your fucking brains out." I laughed . I wasn't scared at all and for this nigga to think he could put fear in my heart was humorous. Major came In the house and walked straight in. He stopped and looked at me and I laughed.

"let me go put my son in the bed." He said as he walked upstairs.

"so , what were your intentions for coming here? " I asked .

"stfu bitch." He spat .

I acted like I was hurt. "well damn , just trying to make conversation."

2minutes later major came downstairs and went into the living room and sat on the couch. "so yeah who sent you?" He said .

"don't worry bout that. Just know I was sent to kill you." I laughed

" oooh that's sloppy. They sent you alone. They must don't gaf bout you."I said . Major laughed.

"Bitch stfu." He grabbed my neck.

"you using that bitch word carelessly. Ieen gone be to many more of yo bitches." I said . He laughed , "you gone be whatever tf I call you." I chuckled .

"is that so? Okay." I said. I reached on my side and grabbed my switch blade. I twisted and just before he said some or did anything I stabbed him and he fell.

"Told you I wasn't gonna be to many more of your bitches now didn't I?" I picked up his gun and put two in his head and one in his chest. "here bae. " I threw him the gun and pulled out my phone. I texted t to get the clean up crew over here.

"I'm gone go shower bae." I said walking upstairs. "I'm coming with you." He said as he came up behind me. We both got in the shower. He washed my body and I washed his.

25 minutes later we both got out the shower and dried off. We put on some clothes and got in the bed and went to sleep.
