Tired October 31st

He texted Frank on his birthday, he tweeted him too but no reply.

Maybe Frank simply didn't get it or he's busy

Gerard thought as he put his phone down and sat on his bed pondering as he stared at the wall not noticing his wife walk into the room

"Gerard it's Halloween let's get dressed up" her soft voice spoke snapping him out of his daze his head slowly turning towards her.

"Oh Uhm yeah you're right" he said biting his lip and looking away

"Hey are you okay?" She asked walking over to him and sitting next to him rubbing his back cautiously

"Yeah I'm fine I just have a lot of things on my mind that's all, no need to worry" he said leaning over and pecking her lips causing her to blush

"Okay then" she said standing up and leaving the room not before ruffling his hair and kissing his head. He stared down at his hands and played with his wedding band smiling a little. His smile soon faded when he started to think of Frank but he pushed him out of his mind and stood up walking into the bathroom to take a quick shower.

After he got dressed in his costume he walked over to bandits room and knocked then walking in

"hey you little rug rat, you ready for the spooks and scares of Halloween" he said smiling and walking over to her picking her up. She squealed and giggled squirming around in his grasp

"Daddy put me down!" She squealed and he hugged her to his chest

"No, daddy wants some love from his rug rat" he said pouting and bandit smiled hugging him back

"Okay daddy, hey! Isn't it uncle Frank's birthday?! Can we go see him please daddy please" she begged and he fought back a frown

"Uncle Frank is busy baby we can't go see him" he said shaking his head and she looked like she was about to cry

"We never see uncle Frank anymore we only see uncle Mikey and uncle Ray I want to see Frank!" She said as small tears spilt from her eyes

"Awe bandit don't cry I know you want to see him and it's complicated to say the least, you'll understand when you're a bit older okay?" He said and bandit started wailing

"I want to know now! Tell me now! Let me see uncle Frank!" She said banging her small fist on his chest and he shook his head feeling his heart wrench

"It's out of my control, I can't do anything"

"Lier! You can get him here! Let me see him let me see him let me see him!!" She screamed sobbing and sniffling he put her down and got on his knees but she just stepped away from him

"I hate you!" She shouted and by the time Gerard's heart had broken Lindsey was already in the room trying to calm her down. He stood up and left the room ignoring Lindsey who called after him and bandit who shouted 'I hate daddy, he won't let me see uncle frank' over and over again. His head started to pound as he went back to the bedroom and laid down letting tears stream down his cheeks as he closed his eyes and slowly fell asleep.
