Chapter 4

Onika P.O.V.

Waking up I did my normal hygiene. Brushing my hair I grab a grey long sleeve shirt and a pair of grey jeans and pair of tennis shoes.  Grabbing the house key from the living room table. I walk to the bus stop and got on. Walking in school I notice I have an extra 20 minutes before the school day started I headed straight to the library. Signing in I walk over to end of the room where all of the new computers was. Taking out Aubrey paper I continue to write down information.

Hearing the 1st block bell rang I grab my stuff and headed to first block. Walking in I said good morning to Mr.Banks taking my seat at the back of the class I  like normal for the school day to begin. Seeing Trey walk in he walk straight to my desk and handed me the require format his essay must be type in taking it from he give me a smile and walk to his desk. Putting the paper in my book-bag I look straight to the white board waiting for Mr.Banks to start teaching. 

Later On

Going upstairs to 4th block class I turn the corner and bump into Rihanna knocking us both down. 

Rihanna: Watch where the fuck you going you Rat Nerdy Girl

Onika: I'm sorry I wasn't paying attention 

Rihanna: No Shit

Standing up she push me my  back down. Looking up at her she look at me like I was absolutely nothing..like I wasn't even a human being in her eyes. Looking away she walk by me kicking my book-bag from me. Standing up I dust myself of and pick up my book-bag. I continue to walk to my 4th block class. Walking inside I sat in the back like usually and took out my pencil. 

Halfway in class Mrs. Knowles stop the class to introduce our new student..looking up it was the same dude from yesterday...looking at him he look right in my direct. It felt like everything around me stop..looking in his pretty brown eyes. I broke out of the trance when Mrs.Knowles told me to rise my hand. 

Rising my hand he start walking toward me. Pulling out the chair beside me he sat down. Sitting down I smell his Cologne again..damn he smell good. I said to myself. Looking over he smile at me.

August: I saw you yesterday right? At the library?

Onika:  Yeah. 

August: *Laugh* Alright I knew you look familiar.

Onika: Yeah. 

Returning my attention back to the board I listen to Mrs.Knowles go over question we may see on our test tomorrow. Even tho I was looking at the board I couldn't not help but feel like August was staring at me. 

Finally the last bell rang.. gathering my stuff I drop my pencil before I could grab it myself August grab it and handed it to me. Handing it over I give him a smile and a thank you. Walking out the room I start walking down the stairs. Turning the corner I nearly bump into Chris..Sorry I said. Going by him he grab my arm..

Chris: Slow down. I got something to ask you

Onika: What is it?

Chris: I was wondering you want to come to this party this weekend..

Onika: O. No thank you..

Chris: Why not? It not like you have something better to do..

Onika: I not the party type of girl 

Chris: Of course..Well you can just come and chill

Onika: Why do you want me to come to the party for?

Chris: Well cause Rihanna not coming and I need a girl to take...And plus I need a beautiful girl to come with me...

Onika: O...

Chris: Yeah. Just think about it please?

Onika: OK. I think about it...

Chris: Thanks.

Before walking away he kiss me on the cheek..standing there shock..I can't believe that he just kiss me....shocking my it out my head. I continue walking before I miss the bus and have to wait another 20 mins to catch a another one.

Catching the public I rode it to the public library. Walking in I sign my name and put down how long I will need the computer for. An hour should be enough I said to myself. Grabbing computer number 3 I walk to computer 3 and took out trey project and start googling fact.  Half way though I heard the seat beside move out looking up I saw August sitting down smiling. Damn he so sexy.
