"Maybe I'm amazed at the way you love me all the time"

How dare he.

How fucking dare he.

"Maybe I'm afraid of the way I love you"

Who gives him the bloody right?!

"Maybe I'm amazed at the way you pull me out of time"

John clenched his fists roughly, grinding his teeth.

The more he thought about it, the angrier he became until he felt himself lose it all. He stood up and whipped the newspaper away, grabbing a vase and smashing it against the wall.

He grabbed the radio and tossed it on the ground, breaking it on impact, the stupid song finally gone.

Who let that bullshite on the radio anyway?!

"The GIT! THE FUCKING GIT!" John paced around the room angrily. "STUPID COCK-SUCKING QUEER!"

Yoko leaned against the wall, listening to John's tantrum, then hearing the door slam.

He left.

Yoko stepped into the room and calmly cleaned up the mess John had made.

Almost throwing the newspaper away, Yoko stopped dead in her tracks.

She uncrumbled the newspaper and read it.

"Ah"

She looked up and out the window to the beautiful sunny sky.

So it made sense. Paul had finally quit the band. Or announced it officially.

Of course John would be angry. For two reasons.

One, He wanted to announce it first. The stubborn man was mad Paul beat him to it.

Two, he was still in love with Paul.

Yoko wasn't stupid. The two had something before she ever came along. He was still attached to Paul like a disgusting leech. And it was her job to pull John out of it.

Yoko continued to toss the newspaper away.

Linda and the kids were out of town, so Paul had invited Cynthia and Julian to come over for tea. To catch up a bit.

He didn't talk to them as often as he wanted to.

Julian had turned 9 a few days ago and Paul had gotten him a new bike.

"He's doing alright isn't he?" Paul had asked Cynthia, sipping his tea.

"Definitely. He has many friends and he's doing great in school aren't you, Jules?"

Julian sipped his juice and nodded at his uncle Paul.

"Anyway, thank you so much for the bike, Paul. Julian has been wanting one for months"

"Oh, its no trouble. I'm sure he'll learn how to ride one right?" Paul grinned at Julian.

"You'll teach me, right uncle Paul?" Julian asked hopefully.

"Of course" Paul instantly agreed, his fatherly figure coning out.

"How's Linda and Heather?" Cynthia asked.
