Poseidon's Curse

"Hey Teegs, Teegs, TEEGS"

"Huh?" I said as I woke up in a jolt.

"Dude you have to get up for training" said the random person in my room.

"OK first off who are you, second off where am I, and last why are you half goat."

"Half-Goat?!?!?! I will have you know that I am Half-Ram and if you have a problem with that you can take it up with my back hooves!!" said the "Half-Ram".

"OK, OK calm down you're a Half-Ram I won't make that mistake ever again"

"You got that right now for your other questions you had. This is camp Half-Blood, a camp for demigods. And because you don't remember who you are or who you parents are I guess we should start at the basics. Your name is Teegan pronounced TEA-GUN, good we got that great. So you just arrived here two days ago with nothing to eat or drink and we didn't know anything about you. Because you probably don't know this only Half-Bloods, Gods and Goddesses can come through these gates. When you walked through these gates like you owned the place we instantly gave you extra clothes, some food and water. We took your sword which was covered in blood and gave you a bath. You told us you where running from him, you kept saying he's coming to get me you guys aren't safe then you passed out and now you just woke up. Oh by the way my name is Tumnus. My father is Ixion and I know what  your thinking didn't he make Centaurs. Yes he did make them but there was a "freak accident" and that "freak accident" was me so here I am the Counselor of this here camp. My job is to help you find your talents and hopefully who your mother or father is in the process. Now do you have any questions for me?"

"Ummm ya just one.... so are Half-Goat or Half-Ram."

"Boy you better get your sword and get out to the training area before I kick you into next week" said Tumnus.

As I was walking out I heard him mumble something about not getting enough money for this.

I walked out of the building and took a took around the camp. There where kids no more than 5 years old running around with sticks yelling "get the Cyclops get the  Cyclops". I started to wonder what I was like when I was younger and if my memories would ever come back.

Just as I start think really hard about my life I was rudely interrupted by what sounded like a dying cow but apparently was a girls laugh. 

"Oh look what Zeus dragged in a newbie, I wonder who his parents are I will being willing to be his mother is Hemera and his father is some lonely factory worker who just needed affection. Not to often you here about a Goddess being pregnant but being someone as lame as her I don't think that anyone will care. Don't worry, what's your name oh that's right, Teegun I will keep your secret. By the way my name is Alyssa and don't forget it. Not like you will you will be seeing more of me."

"Oh hey Alyssa I see you met Teegun here actually I'm glad you did it saves me some time. Alyssa you will be showing Teegun around the campus you will be training with him and helping him find out who is parents are. Oh and by the way Teegun did you know that Alyssa is the daughter of Zeus its really nice to have her here with us!" 

Oh great first I don't remember who I am or where I am from, and now it seems like I am stuck  with the one person that hates me in this who camp. That's just what I need, but I guess that I can try to make friends with everyone the last thing i need is an angry god against me. "So when do we start training" I said.

Then she had an evil grimace on her face and said slowly "How about now?"

Naturally I said yes because I don't want to see like a wimp.

"Ok newbie lets have you scale this tree" she said.

"With my bare hands?" I said.

"Well ya what else would you use?" she said.

So I tried to do it but apparently i can't grab or hold on to anything or jump to save my life. My first attempt i jump up as high as i could, I wrapped my legs around tree then slid down the tree onto my butt. My second attempt I took a running start and jumped as high as I could, and then slid down the tree onto my butt. About an hour later I was jumping from tree to tree and ended up getting to the top of the tree, and then slid all the way down on my butt.

"Wow took you long enough what was that a good two hours? Anyways now the the next thing. See that boulder over there push it all the way up to the top of that hill and come back to me when you are done." 

So naturally I did what she said after all there maybe a method to her madness. So I went up to the boulder to see how heavy it was and i pushed with all of my might but it wouldn't budge. There is no way this rock is going to move at all. But I have to try if it means getting my memories back and I find out who I am. So I gave that rock on more push and it wasn't budging. I sat down to look around me the view form here was amazing. You could see the whole camp, the bunking area and the training areas. As I was looking around me I found a dead tree that had fallen over. I walked over to it and saw what happened to the tree, it looked like it was chopped down by the marks in the trunk. I remember hearing from somewhere that you can tell how old a tree is by its rings and any dark spots was how long it had a bad year. Judging by the tree it was about 110 years old and it didn't have any bad years. the tree had perfect rings and no discoloration. But as I was examining the tree I saw that a long strip of bark from the tree trunk. Which gave me an idea if I could somehow get the boulder on this piece of bark then I could slide this all the way up the hill. After what seemed to be 2 hours I got the boulder on the bark and pushed it all the way up the hill. I came down the hill to report what I had done and Alyssa looked up at me and said.

"That was fast that literally took 20 minutes, you cheated I don't know how you did but you did" she said. "But anyways it's time for the last test of the day do you see that river over there? It is rumored to have the strongest currents in the entire world. Your final test is to see how long you can last swimming against the current and don't come up until your almost dead. And i put emphasis on almost I don't need another one drowning themselves."

Well thaaaannnnnkkkksssss for that it wasn't like I was all for swimming until I almost die. But like I said I will do anything. So I got into the water and it was surprisingly warm, so I did what I was supposed to I swam for as long as I could. I don't know how or why but when i was in the water time flied by and I felt better. I felt as though I was at home, as I was swimming I saw little fish swim by me like I was another fish. The animals felt so peaceful around me and I felt peaceful with them. And for some odd reason I could breathe just fine underwater. But I'm pretty sure that was me just hallucinating and that I probably should get out. When I came up the whole river was crowded by campers and teachers all shocked even Alyssa was shocked and speechless. I looked up and around me was a dome of water and in the dome was no other the God Poseidon. I was so confused did this mean he was my father? Was I about to die? Was I going to see everyone die? 

As to stop my thoughts right in their tracks (again) a mighty voice that made the earthquake, the animals listen, and the waters still. The God of earthquakes, the seas, and the animals Poseidon said in a loud voice. 

"I am Poseidon and this is my son Teegun, I have gifted Teegun with many things of which in only a matter of minutes he will remember but listen to what he says. He shall be the leader of any expeditions he goes on. But he will need a team, when he regains his memory he will remember why he is here. Now stand my niece Alyssa and my dearest Tumnus you will go with him where ever he does don't let him get a big head but lead him and help him stay on the right path. Now if you please, I have other matters to attend to."

And just like that he was gone, and so was my vision and strength. All I remember is waking up knowing everything. And wishing i knew nothing.
