Malcolm, a common biblical verse.
Little is the slave owners last name.
Shabazz is one the nation gave.

I was a voice for those who couldn't speak
Even those who didn't agree with my speech.
Kennedy said the nations should unite
But according to Lee Harvey Oswald, he wouldn't see another night.

I realized their needed to be a change.
But the nation said to keep it the same.
I began to see the works of MLK
But I kept quiet, cause I knew what the nation would say.

I had a million issues to look after.
But forgot my own life was a factor.
After I became bigger than the Nation,
Nothing about life was the same.

The bullets came tearing through my heart
Killed by the Nation that gave me a new start
