It was a dream actually that I had for like 1 week straight. So it started with me and some bad person (robber,murderer, etc.) and he had a gun and he was chasing me on the 2nd floor. There was no choice but to jump from the top of the steps. So I did. When I was halfway in the air I woke up. So I'm suggesting maybe the story could start with the dream in a girls point of view and then when she's halfway in the air after she jumped, the story should say that the last thing she saw was the bad person (robber,murderer, etc.) and a creepy grin plastered on his face before everything went dark. Then it should say that the girl was found either severely injured or dead and the cliffhanger could be like how could she be dead or severely injured if it was a dream?
