Chapter 10

"My original creations!! Liver with fried veggies, stewed veggies with meat, minced fish and many others!! How is it??" the chairman asked, handing down mouth watering dishes.

Unfortunately, none of us three-- Ichiru, Zero and me said a word. "Such a rare occassion that the three of us are able to gather and eat together for Ichiru's recovery and his love of his life... I worked hard to make those dishes..." the chairman is on all fourz with a depressive aura surrounding him.

"Even though dad keep saying 'my original creation' this is too good to be true... right nii-san??" Ichiru said while munching on a broccoli.

"Yes it's true... and didn't I tell you not to count me as family??" Zero said, pertaining to the chairman. I just chuckled that even though they act cold towards their father... I can see how happy they all are today.

"I never knew you had such a wonderful family" I smiled as Zero was about to complain about the family part but Ichiru squeezed his hand, telling him to shut up and let me continue.

"I don't know much about all of you but I won't ask if you don't want to tell me... and chairman... you're really a good father and I'm really glad that you took care of them well"

There was silence and Ichiru was smiling while Zero's back was on me, maybe he's trying to hide his emotions. "Senshi..." chairman called my name for the first time "When will be your wedding with Ichiru??"

"Damn that chairman!! What is he thinking?!!" I complained to no one as I walked around outside, totally embarrassed when he asked me about when will I mary Ichiru and how we would use the academy's ballroom for the reception.

He's really crazy sometimes. Now I understand where Ichiru's and Zero's straight-forwardness came. That man is the root of it all!! I stomped my way towards the direction of the moon dorm but was stopped when I heard Ichiru called me.

"Senshi!!" I turned around, pouting at the younger Kiryuu "I'm really sorry about what dad said earlier..."

He avoids eye contact from me as a small tint of blush stains his cheek. I chuckled how cute he is. "No it's fine!!" I said, reassuring him "No harm taken"

"Really?? Thanks..." he sighed in relief and we both walked with our hand intertwined until we both arrived at the moon dorm before Ichiru told me that he should go back to his duties.

I smiled and as if reading my thoughts, he gently pulled me by the waist closer to him and he lifted my chin. I closed my eyes and when our lips were inches apart...

"COME ON!! LE----" our eyes widenned at the same obnoxious blonde who opened the door just in time to ruin our romantic kiss with the other vampires in his tow. "Are we interrupting something..??"

We suddenly broke apart and I bowed my head, hidding my blush behind my bangs. Completely forgotten that it was already night shift for the night class. Ichiru stuttered that he needs to go back to his duties before running away from embarrassment.

"Senshi" I jumped at the familiar stern voice that held a lot of power "Don't ever do those things like that in front of us again, understood??"

"Y-yes, Kaname-sama"

Outside far in town, a mysterious man in walk down the abandoned alleyway where a pile of ashes scattered around. He examined and in an instant, he knew that the ashes was once a Level E and was killed by a noble vampire not a hunter...
