Class hasn't started yet, so not many people were in the classroom. Only a few kids talked amongst each other as they waited for the bell to ring.

I heard a small gasp. "Raylene? Raylene Sukari?" A girl said as she stood up with a notebook and a pen. "Can I get an autograph? Please." She squealed as I smiled at her.

I smiled, "of course, my love." She jumped up in delight.

I signed then gave the girl her notebook back. She couldn't stop smiling as she sat back down where she once was. Keeping people happy is what I mostly desire.

I then sat down at a random desk near a window. My head perched in the palm of my hand as I looked out of the window into the horizon.

So far, the school has impressed me. From the delicately painted walls to the glossy tile floors. The classroom seemed clean and very organized. Four rows of desks with five seats in each row.

From the corner of my eye, more students walked into the classroom. Their conversations added on to the noise that has already filled the class. No one payed attention to me, except a few but they didn't cause me any trouble. The bell rung, signaling the start of class.

"Um... excuse me? You're in my seat." A sweet voice whispered in my ear. I looked over to see a cute girl. She had red hair and beautiful green eyes.

She smiled at me so I smiled back. "I apologize. It was my mistake." I said as I stood and gathered my belongings.

By this time, all of the students had entered the room, just waiting for the advisor to come in and introduce the lesson.

Just as I stood up, the teacher entered the room. "Good morning class. How is every-" She stopped once her eyes landed on me, "Oh you must be the new student. Raylene I presume?"

"Yes ma'am." I bowed in respect.

"Please come to the front to introduce yourself." She smiled.

I walked up to the front of the class, facing the students. "Good morning. I am Raylene Sukari. It's a pleasure to meet all of you." I smiled a cute close eyed smile.

Most boys had heart eyes and some girls squealed in delight.

"Where do I take my seat miss?" I asked the teacher.

"You can sit in between the Hitachiin twins. Hikaru, Kaoru please raise your hands." She replied.

Two Auburn-haired twins raised their hands up. An empty seat stood in the middle of them. They didn't seem like the annoying type of twins so I didn't protest. I took the seat.

I glanced at the board. It had notes on it and the topic that we are studying was written in bold.

Hybrid Gods

I stared at the board with a blank expression. It's my first day of school and we are learning this. Might as well sleep through the whole class.

The teacher clapped, grabbing the students' attentions. "Okay class. Since we have been studying the different God's of the world. We might as well talk about these."

I leaned my head on my palm, boredly staring at the teacher.

"Hybrid gods are the most rare and powerful beings in the world. Only one is born every 100 years." I smiled, looked down at my desk and began to draw doodles on my open notebook. "Unfortunately, these type of God's are not immortal. They can get severely hurt and heal quickly, but they can still die..."

I zoned out since I knew all of this. I've been through a lot of this. I mean I am a hybrid god. So of course I'd know this.

I just stared out of the window that was a few desks away from me. My attention was caught as I heard the instructor comment about something.

"The world is still in search for the one who is blessed with this ability. According to newspaper articles a hybrid was supposed to be born 15 years ago in December of this year. No one has seen or encountered the one who has this ability. Everyone is starting to believe that hybrid gods are now extinct." I stifled in a laugh and looked down. The student to my right glanced at me.

...

RIING.....

The class is finally over. I'm so happy because we have a free period where we can study or socialize or go to your clubs. Speaking of clubs, River and Jessica explained that you must be in at least two clubs for the school year. Or in one club for all three free periods; before school, during and after school.

But I can take care of that later. For now, I'll probably just go to a music room or the library to read. I got up from my seat and pushed it in. I was going to walk out of the room but accidentally bumped into a girl with short brown hair, making her drop her books.

"Oh my gosh I'm so sorry. I wasn't paying attention." I apologized. I squatted down, making sure to not give a peep show to people, and helped her pick up the books that were on the floor.

"No. It's my fault. I was blocking your path." She also picked up the rest of the books.

I stood back up as she did the same. I smiled at her and handed her the books.

"I'm Raylene by the way."

"Haruhi Fujioka. Nice to meet you." She smiled back at me. "Do you want to study with me. I know you just came but I'm guessing that you could use a friend to help you out."

I smiled and nodded, "it'd be nice to have a helpful friend here."

We walked around in comfortable silence, looking for a quiet place to study but all of the classrooms seemed to be occupied by other people and clubs.

"I'm sorry for asking but why are you dressed like a boy? Do you have any feminine clothing in your wardrobe?" I asked looking at her short hair..

"I do have feminine clothing but I just think that it doesn't suit me. I have short hair because I had a small incident with gum. I had to cut off all of my long hair just to get it out." she replied and stroke her short hair, "It's easier to manage like this."

We carried on with the conversation after that. I do believe that we'll be amazing friends after getting to know one another.

Her life was quite interesting. She had lost her mother due to a really bad sickness. She's lived with her father for ten years in an apartment in town.

She got into Ouran by scholarship. Her father is probably proud of his child. Having the brains to get into a prestigious school like this one. She mentioned she was poor and couldn't afford the tuition or the uniform. I wouldn't blame her, the tuition for me to go here is just... wow. I offered to give her some money but she kindly rejected it, seeing it as way too much to ask for a person she just met.

We shared a few laughs as we looked through the doors of the three library rooms. If the first three libraries were full, then there is no doubt that the fourth one will not be full.

And as I thought, the room was filled with the chatter and laughter of teens who believe that there is not a thing to care for in this world. Like studying for exams or getting good grades. Oh well, grades don't matter when you have money.

Haruhi sighed and closed the overly large library door.
