"It gets better"

They say "it will all get better"
Like they think it will help,
Like they think telling us it will be okay,
Will somehow make us feel worthy again,
Don't,
Don't tell us it's going to be okay,
Even when you no that's it's probably not.
The last thing we need is to be given hope,
Hope that will only,
Destroy us,
We are already broken,
Don't take away are chances of being fixed.
The people we trust and care about,
They tell us it will get better,
They leave us hanging by a thread,
We end up more broken then we already are,
Because someone we knew, someone we thought cared,
Had the nerve, the disgusting nerve,
To tell us,
"It gets better".
