I stare at Trevor with wide eyes after I realize that. Maybe I am. I mean, it would explain a lot, wouldn't it? The fact I look for him first in a strange situation, for example, or how I told him everything Sloane and I talked about before anyone else.
He frowns. "Jane, are you alright?"
I snap out of my trance, realizing I've been staring at him all this time and shake my head. I smile apologetically. "Yeah, I'm fine, thanks. Just a bit tired, that's all."
"I know the feeling," Trevor laughs, rubbing his eyes tiredly. "I haven't slept in days, because I was worrying sick about you."
My hand cups his face and he turns his head into my palm. "I'm alright, Trevor," I repeat.
"You're not."
I sigh and relax again in the sleeping bag. "Promise me you'll wake me up when you get tired tonight. We'll figure something out so that you can sleep, too."
Trevor tries to protest, but I groan silently, stopping him.
"Stop being so stubborn, June."
He huffs. "You're one to talk, Loft."

Reya's voice wakes me up. I open my eyes and see the cave's darker than when I opened my eyes earlier. The sun set and the full moon is shedding a white light over the landscape outside.
"Jane," she says softly. Her hand is shaking my shoulder gently and the combination of both wakes me. "Wake up, love."
I blink a few times, rub the sleepiness from my eyes and smile at her weakly. "Hi there."
"Hi back," she replies, winking at me.
I look at the dark object in her hands. "What's that? My medicine?"
She nods, gestures I have to extend my arm and kneels next to me. "This medicine is more powerful than the previous. You'll feel stronger within minutes."
"Great," I nod, closing my eyes at the wonderful feeling when she binds my arm. The pain fades away and my arm feels light and healthy. "I want to take a look in Jaxa."
She looks at me with glistening eyes. "Are you sure Adam is here? I mean, the boys have been searching for him ever since we arrived here and they haven't found anything."
"Yet," I complete her. "I think Trevor and the rest haven't been looking in the right places."
"Trevor and the rest, huh?" she teases, cocking an eyebrow. "I take it you guys talked?"
And then I start telling her everything. How we woke up in each other's arms, how he told me he liked me and how I confessed I thought he was perfect. I leave the 'maybe I'm falling in love with Trevor June'-part out, deciding I don't even know how I feel about that yet. I felt tired when she woke me up, but now I'm fuzzing with energy. I guess it's a combination of Reya's medicine and Trevor June.
"How is it that you've never seen how keen he is of you?" she asks, flicking some hair out of her eyes with a short movement of her head. Her hands are fastening my bandage and when she's done, she leans back on her hands and looks at me, trying to figure me out. "Everyone sees it."
I shrug. "During our time in Zickenbridge, he went out with Summer and since I couldn't stand her, I couldn't stand him."
"That makes absolutely no sense," she frowns, shaking her head.
I smile. "Trevor has always been the teasing guy in school begging for everyone's attention. I never thought he was begging for mine."
Reya clears her throat. "Just out of curiosity," she smirks, "but what did he do?"
