**Mary**
Mary bit her nail nervously.

"Casey, its already dark out." she complained. Casey frowned, and tugged her hair.

"Mary, I'm sure he's fine... Maybe he is just getting back?" Casey suggested. Mary started sobbing.

"He has got to be alive, I just know it.." she began. The radios static came through. Mary's head jerked up.

"Camp 14 to Jon's tent." a voice came through. Mary sprinted to the radio.

"Mary speaking, what's up? Is Jon alive?" she begged the man to answer.

"He right here, I'm putting him on." a shuffle noise, then Jon's voice.

"Hey babe." She heard him say.

"Jon, I'm so glad your safe.." she said into the microphone. Casey moved out of the room to leave them.

"I'm safe, and... I found someone too." he said.

"Who?" Mary asked curiously.

"A little girl. She's about 8ish... Her name is Lily." Jon said. Mary smiled.

"You dident turn her over, did you? Warriors path will do horrible things to her.." She started.

"No. I stated the she will be in my sight. Under my supervision. She is even sleeping in my tent." Jon said. Mary exhaled. She heard him giggle.

"What are you going to do with her?" Mary asked.

She heard a shuffle noise, then "I think... I'm gonna keep her." Jon said. Mary smiled.

"And you also have to remember that your child is on the way soon." she said mysteriously. Jon gasped.

"What is it??? You know.." Jon said in an exited voice. Mary laughed.
"I'll tell you when you being your cute little butt home safe." Mary said in an adorable voice. She heard Jon groan.
"Fine..." He said. Mary giggled. "Alright, I gotta go, next guy in line wants to call his girlfriend." Jon said.
"Okay hun. Radio me tommorow if you can." Mary said. "I will. I love you." he said. "I love you too." Mary said in a seductive voice. She sat back in her chair, and sighed. He was safe.

**Jon**
Jon clicked the radio button, hanging up. "Ya tuk lung nuff!" a disgusting man shouted.
"Nice English." Jon muttered.
"Wut did ya say?" He asked in an angered voice.
"I said, your English fucking sucks, but i said it in a quite voice, so you dident hear." Jon started towards him.
The man swung at him. Jon ducked and swung back. The loud noise of the impact of his fist against his face echoed. "That's enough!" a soldier shouted.
A group separated the two. "Hi brook mi fugging jaw.." He heard the man say.
"Bitch." Jon said as he walked outside.
Jon walked to his temporary tent, and tried to open it quietly. He heard Lily's voice. "I'm still up." She called.
Jon just opened the tent, and closed it behind him. Lily was lying comfortably in Jon's sleeping bags. Jon plopped down, and removed his jacket. "What's that?" Lily asked.
"Pardon?" Jon asked back.
"The scar, on your arm." Jon looked down.
"Ohh.. Hold on a minute, ill tell you." Jon said.
He took off all his gun holsters, and exhaled in relief at the weight loss. He was in his grey t-shirt. Jon removed his boots, and sat next to her.
**Lily**
He sat down next to Lily. Lily looked up. Jon seemed like a strong man, and smelled like smoke, and blood. She wanted to be close to him. He just seemed welcoming. She curled up next him. He felt warm, just as her daddy used to be. He sighed. He giggled. "I was shot, but who did it, was sloppy, and just took some of my flesh. That's why I just have this scar in a line... See?" Jon ran his finger along the line.
She giggled. Jon smiled. She knew Jon was going to protect her now. She snuggled up next to him now. "I'm 9 by the way... Not 8." She mumbled.
"Hmm." Jon grunted, understandingly.
She dozed off, and fell asleep.
**Jon, the next morning**
"Don't wander, we'll be out of here soon." Jon said to Lily.
She nodded, and skipped around the store. The caterer made a disgusted face. "I need the jacket and gloves cleaned." Jon said.
She nodded, and akwardly pulled Jon's silver box out, she handed it over. Jon rubbed it clean with a tissue, and slid it in his shirt pocket. "Where are your jeans? I need a new pair." Jon said.
She pointed to the corner. Jon nodded his head at her. Jon picked out his pant size, slid his belt off, and replaced his jeans. He took the lighter out of his old pair, and the knifes. He clicked the duel knifes onto his belt again. Jon re-fashioned his pistol holster again. "I get free items, so see about getting us some candy, huh?" Jon asked her in a hushed voice.
"Okay!" She beemed, and skipped off to grab it.
That would keep her busy. Jon threw the jeans at the cashier. "Trade-in." Jon said.
Jon grabbed things off his short list. A coat for Lily, a backpack for Lily, a new water bottle, and a new pair of gloves, one for him, and one for Lily. Jon slid the new gloves on. Lily ran up to Jon carrying two candy bar's. Jon threw money on the counter. They walked out, carrying the items they had bought.

Lily was getting dressed, and Jon was packing her backpack of items. He put in, a water bottle, a pair of socks, a lighter, a scarf, a notebook, and a pen. Lily walked up behind him. "How do i look?" she beemed.
"You look nice Lily." Jon smiled. She shyly looked at the ground.
"Thank you." she said.
Jon zipped the bag. "Keep track of these items please? I can't go back to the store for another week." Jon asked of her, sliding the bag on her.
"Sure thing!" She said.
Jon slid the magazine out of his pistol. The only gun he had. 12 bullets. He clicked it back in, and cocked it. All loaded. He clicked the safety, and slid it back in its holster. Time to load up onto the helicopter.

"Is she nice?" asked Lily.
"She has to be the nicest woman you ever meet." said Jon proudly.
Jon thought back to how he had met Mary. She was kind, and alone. It started out as a Small friendship. After about a year and a half, that small friendship escalated. Quickly. Jon smiled. He would have time to think about it later. Jon and lily were loaded up onto the helicopter and sat next to each other. The doors closed. Chris stepped in. Jon straightend his back. "Okay, we have word our helicopters could get shot down. We can't avoid this, but we can hand out these parachutes." he threw one at him and Lily.
He then handed out the rest. Jon placed his on the ground. The helicopter was airborne now. Jon fastened Lily's parachute to her very tightly. "Why so tight?" she asked, tugging on the strap.
"So if you fall out, you'll be safe." Jon said, trying to focus on her parachute.
The soldiers that were flying to their next destination jumped out now. That left 4 soldiers in the helicopter. In order to go back home, you need to find at least one survivor. They counted lily. Jon heard a faint whistle. "What's that?" Jon asked Chris.
Chris's eyes widened.
"What is that?" it got louder.
"BRACE!" He shouted.
Jon three lily on the ground and ducked over her. A loud beeping noise hurt Jon's ears. The entire helicopter shifted, as the explosion hit the chopper. It started spinning. Jon grabbed Lily's arm and tried to yank her out. "Stay put once you land!" he shouted.
He shoved a purple flare into her hand and threw her out the door. The back of the helicopter disconnected, and flew past Jon. The suction yanked him out. Jon desperately tried to grab his parachute. He squeezed it tight, and tried to swing it around, on to his back. The wind was blowing too fast. Jon just yanked on the string. The parachute dident have to be fastened. The chute flung out and Jon came to gentle glide now, but not before a loud crunch noise. His left shoulder was disconnected. Jon hit the trees and stumbled through the branches, his arms were yanked up, and he fell beneath the branches. His arms were tangled in the ropes, unable to move.
"Ahhhhhhhhh..." Jon exhaled.
The forest was filled with the growls of walkers. Many of them was and heard him crash, and made a pool of the undead beneath his feet. Jon knew he wasent going anywhere... Unless someone cut him down.
