(2 days later)
They were letting Dj leave today, they cleared him to play the rest of the tour, I haven't been able to see him because as soon as his mother found out she got the first flight in, she blames me for everything.
I sat in the waiting room patiently waiting on Dj to walk around that corner. I keep thinking that maybe this was all my fault because If I would've just strait out told Dj how I felt we wouldn't be in this situation.
"Hey how are you doing?" Tommy said sitting next to me and putting his arm around me.
"Not good, I am the reason he wrecked, his mothers right." I told Tommy.
"Look Kelsi your not the reason he got shit faced then decided he was sober enough to drive, that's his own dumb ass fault ok."
"But Tommy you don't understand, if I hadn't been talking to Joe he wouldn't have been getting dunk, and the reason why he was driving because he was coming to see me." Tommy looked shocked.
I felt like shit and I just laid my head on Tommy shoulder and quietly let a few tears fall down my face. Tommy held me, this is what I love about Tommy, he never asks questions he lets you get out what's needed.
~Dj POV~
"Ok I'm ready to go, lets get out of here mom." I said grabbing my bag then holding the door open for mom. When we reached the end of the hallway I gave mom a hug and told her goodbye, and we parted ways.
As I rounded the corner into the waiting room I noticed Kelsi had been crying. I rushed over to her dropping my bag.
"Kelsi whats wrong?" I asked
She wiped her eyes the looked up.
"Nothing." She said coldly.
"Hey guys can I talk to Kelsi for a second?" I asked. They all nodded then left. I sat down next to her and grabbed her hand.
"Kelsi tell me whats wrong with you." I demanded
"Your mom was right this was all my fault.'' She said
What in the hell did she mean?
"Kelsi what are you talking about when did you talk to my mom?"
"Yesterday morning she wouldn't let me go see you because she said I was the whole reason why you were in here and that I was a horrible person."
"What!? Kelsi listen to me you and not the reason why I wrecked ok and your not a horrible person I love you, my mom was just being a mom ok don't ever think that. Do you know how scared you just made me, I saw you crying and I panicked." I said making her look at me.
She smiled then kissed me.
"Now come on I'm ready to get out of this damn hospital." I said standing up and grabbing her hand then walking out of the hospital.
"We'll have to take my car since yours was totaled." She said leading out to her car.
