Tiana came back and immediately pulled out her phone, pulled up the screenshots, and gave her phone to Mrs. Rhodes.
Mrs. Rhodes swiped a few times, and giving Tiana her phone back, looking as if she didn't wanna see anymore.
"Tiana, you can't fight over no boy. A friendship bond is worth more than any boy. That boy can be cheatin' on you with a million other girls, and you ready to fight all of em. You finna throw years of friendship over a boy."

Tiana grabbed her bag and got in her mama's car. Tiana explained the whole situation.

Tiana's mama was silent, her face showing visible disappointment. She couldn't believe she tried to fight her bestfriend since 4th grade, over a boy. Now Tiana was suspended for 3 days. Tiana sat in her room, just starting into space.

Tiana had called Nadiyah, her daddy's daughter from a different woman. Nadiyah was short and was quiet and Tiana called her Tiny, but she "could beat a bitches ass.", as she liked to say. Tiana needed somebody to talk and relate to her. It hadn't been 20 minutes before Tiny showed up after she got a emergency text. Tiny and Tiana don't talk every day, but they had each other's back.

The doorbell rang and Tiny said, "What's wrong?" Tiana took Tiny up to her room, where she brought her up to speed on the events that happened in the past month.
