"Lou...is that you?" Harper whispered from the top of the staircase. Silence. Slowly stepping down the stairs she carefully made her way to the living room.
Hearing a small giggle she twirled around making her dress flow out alongside her. Coming face to face with a small girl with a pink ribbon in her hair she couldn't help but smile.
"What's your name sweetie?" Just as she had bent down to meet the tiny girl at eye level she felt a hand on her shoulder.
"Who are you talking to?" Louis whispered as if it was supposed to be a secret. Turning towards him she had the smallest smile on her face.
"The little girl, what's yo-" Stopping briefly, she had turned around pointing towards the adorable toddler only to be met with cold empty air.
"What girl Harper?" Scrunching her eyebrows together she hesitantly stood up facing Louis again.
"You didn't see her?" Shaking his head no she looked up to him confused. How odd. He must have scared her away she thought as her head turned back around to look at the spot that once held the little girl.
It's one of a kind they said.
