jax's pov
Andi had just left for wits academy. Emma and i were standing by the lockers. "i feel like a part of our life's is ending" Emma said almost crying. "but its our new beginning" i said hugging her "i love you jax" she said. then she kissed me and sparks flew. " how about we go to the beach" i asked sweetly. " o-ok" she said.
Emma's pov
i feel sad. my best friend just left and now i'm going to the beach with jax. when jax and i were talking i was choking back tears. maybe the beach will make me feel better. we just walked out of the school. "lets ride my dirt bike" jax says "why" i say " you know it scares me". "i would never let anything happen to you". jax made me feel so secure and i had to give in. "ok fine" i said we got on the bike and i held on to jax so tight. that made me feel a little better. we got to the beach and jax parked the bike. i hoped off. jax got off and took of my helmet for me. "i can do that myself" i whined and jumped on his back and he ran onto the beach . he ran to the edge of the water and threw me in. i held out my hand for him to help me up. he reached out his hand and i pulled him in. it turned into a full on splash fight. once we got out i dried us off with my magic. jax made a picnic appear. the sun started setting over the ocean and he lit candles. "aww jax" i said just before i kissed him. he made some pasta. we ate i picked up a noodle and he picked up the same one we kissed. after we finished eating he walked me home. " wheres your dad" he said when we got in side. "i don't know" i said. i found a note on the table from my dad. it read
dear Emma
i left for a big brains meeting in Nevada. ill be back in two weeks. take care of yourself. ms. vampelt will check in on you every few days. love you
dad
then suddenly thunder boomed outside. i jumped into jax's arms. "its ok em" he said and gently kissed my forehead. "jaxy can you stay with me tonight" i said shaking "of course" he said
