Chapter 5 witches cold

Emma pov
"Ill write up your check out papers" the doctor said exiting. I just wanted to go home with jax. We had just been through a lot. I also died. I just need to rest. The doctor brought the papers in i signed and jax transported us to the beach. "Can we just teleport home I'm tired" I said yawning loudly " I have a better idea" jax said picking me up "this works too" I said yawning again. I layed my head on jax's chest and fell asleep.
Jax pov
I was walking home with Emma home and she fell asleep on my chest. On the way some guys in black masks started to yell and chase me. I ran into an alle and hid. Emma was still asleep and had just been through a lot so I let her sleep. Then it started to rain really cold and hard. Em started to wake up.
Emma pov
I woke up still in jax's arms frezzinf cold and wet. We were in a dark alley and it was raining hard. I started to shutter. " W-what's going on " I said "shhhhh" jax said wrapping me in his leather jacket. "Some guys started chasing me and I hid here I wanna make sure they are gone stay here" he said putting me down. "Ok" he came back with his shirt in pieces. "W-what happened" I asked "they tried to beat me up" "I scared them off its ok now" he said. I started to sneeze and cough. "I-I'm g-g-glad y-your ok" I said. " I think your getting sick I have to get you inside now and I can't use my powers in the rain" he said "I'm f-fine" I said shivering. I was not fine I felt like crap. I was so cold I thought I was freezing to death. "No your not" he picked me up and quickly ran 3 blocks to my house. Wow that boy is strong. He sat me on the couch and got me some blankets.
Jax pov
I wrapped Emma in two blankets and she was still shuttering. I hugged her and surprisingly she stopped. "Em ill lay here and you can put your head on my lap" I said "o-ok" she said laying down. I covered her up and she fell asleep. " I love you em" I said to her. She smiled. Even when she is sleeping she is cute. I love her so much. I fell asleep thinking. At around 12 I woke up to see Emma crying on my lap. " Em what wrong" I said to her " you never loved me no one did" she cried " you don't love me" she cried harder "em that's not true" I said kissing her. We kissed for minute then just sat there. "Are you sure you love m-me"she said. "Of course your the most beautiful sweet loving girl I could ever have" I replied. Then she sneezed like 10 times. "I-m fine" she said "em I think you sick do you want me to call nurse lily" I said concerned " oh o-ok" she said. I teleported lily there. " Lily there is something wrong with Emma she is really sick" I said "ok ill check her out" lily said. She examined Emma. "Emma has a witches cold. She will not be able to control her powers and if she uses her powers it will make her weaker it will be gone in 3 days" lily said "w-what" Emma said sneezing and making flowers appear " just rest and relax and stay with jax" lily said leaving
