Supernatural one shot:
"It's a girl!"
The doctor quickly left to clean up my new daughter. I was exhausted from nearly 5 hours of labor, but seeing my baby girl sleeping softy in my arms made it all worth it.
A person suddenly sits besides me on the bed. Their arm snaking around my waist as a kiss is pressed to my forehead, "She's so beautiful, you did great hunny." He, my husband, Sam says softly.
"We did great Sammy, and I know that we will raise her perfectly." I said looking up into his gorgeous hazel eyes, which are filled with love for me and our daughter.
He stares down at our little girl in my arms, who has now woken up and cooing softly.
I looked to Sam and saw a thoughtful, but worried expression on his face. Feeling my gaze, he turns his eyes to meet mine, "Do you want to hold her?" I ask.
"I'm worried I'll hurt her. Dean was always better at this stuff.."
I giggled softly, "Sammy, you don't need to be worried, you'll be fine." Smiling, I carefully pass our girl over to her father and helped him to support her correctly. Soon he was calmly holding her, smiling as she slowly blinked and opened her eyes. They were a bright green and brown color, like a mixture of Sam's and his brother's eyes.
It was during this beautiful moment of the new family that they knew everything was right in their perfect little world.
