the saddest day of Kennedy's life

When Kennedy and Snowball were playing fetch, Kennedy accidentally threw the ball too hard, that it went in the middle of the road.

Snowball walked off the driveway to get it, but right when Snowball was bout to pick it up, a car came, and ran over Snowball. Kennedy screamed. She told her mom and dad, and they went to the vet, right away.

"Is she okay?" Kennedy said, in a worried voice.

"I'm afraid not. Your dog has only 1 hour left. So hopefully the last hour with your dog is the best one." The vet said.

Kennedy fell on her knees, and started crying.

Her Mom's eyes filled up with water, and so did her Dad's.

"Kennedy, it's okay." Her dad said, with his voice breaking.

"No it's not!! I won't ever see Snowball again!" Kennedy said, while crying.

"Let's make this last hour for Snowball, the best hour she has ever had in her short life." Her mom said, with her voice breaking as well.

So, they did. They made Snowball have the best hour ever, and then, soon enough, Snowball passed away. Kennedy was so sad. But when it was time for her family to leave, she told her parents that she needed to tell Snowball something.

"I'll always love you Snowball, and I always remember you. You were a great dog, and I love you." Kennedy said, with her voice breaking. After that, they left Snowball. Forever.

When Kennedy got home, she looked at all of the pics of Snowball on her phone. Tears filled up her eyes.

"I'll always remember you Snowball." She said, with her voice breaking, and more tears filled her eyes, and she started to cry, and tears ran down her eyes.
