I saw you laying underneath the flagpole stand.
Wanted to walk over, but couldn't.
Friends present.
What to think?
No faze.
I, oh so close to walking towards you.
Pat you on your fluff.
And say "Miss me?"
Because I do.
Flagpole.
Freedom.
Sometimes the flags have to come down.
Wounded soldier.
Flags folded.
