Falling For Him

It has been a month sense my parents passed away in a car crash, and I wanted to move, to start a new beginning, which I know is going to be hard.

I grabbed a box from under my bed which held $174,000. It was saved for college but I needed to use it for a plane ticket to San Antonio and a couple of other things. I got my red and purple suitcase and set them on my bed. I got all my clothes from my closet, folded them up and put them in my red suitcase. I then went to the bathroom to get all my materials containing the ordinary things a girl needed. I put those in my purple suitcase with a couple things my parents left behind and a picture of us together.

I brushed my medium lengthen brown hair, put makeup on consisting of mascara and eye liner, just a natural look, and freshened up before I left to the airport. But before I went to the airport, I had to do something, something important. I needed to say goodbye to my parents.. I drove up to the cemetery where they were buried. I walked over and kneeled down beside my father first.

"Daddy.." I said, "I love you. I know we had our ups and downs, but I knew you were always there for me." At this point I was crying. I cupped my hands together, "You were the most incredible father that ever lived, and I just want you to know that, I love.. I love you daddy." "I remember that time we went fishing together and we both fell in the water." I said laughing a little. "I remember all the good times with you, they were the best." "Bye daddy, I love you." I said kissing his tombstone.

I walked over to my mom. "Hey momma.." I said crying so hard my stomach felt empty. "I love you so, so much. I remember our girl talks, our laughs, our crying moments. But no matter what, you were always there for me. Thank you so much. I never wanted this to happen to you, honestly. No one deserves this to happen to them. You are so beautiful mom." Right them I felt like my world was empty. I cried so hard and sat there waiting for a response that I knew wouldn't come..

I then got up and said goodbye and placed a rose on each of their graves. "I love you guys." I said smiling. I started my mustang and drove off to the airport.

I sat down in a seat beside the window on the plane. I got my phone out and called Sarah.

"Brianna! Hey!" She said with an excited tone in her voice. "Hey Sarah! What's up?!" I said looking out the window to see beautiful pink clouds surrounding the plane. "Nothing much, just getting your room ready!" "Awe thanks!" I said giggling. "So do you have a boyfriend?" I asked her with a laugh. "No! I'm single and I'm not searching." She said laughing. "Oh okay." I said. We started talking about random things, girl things.

I arrived at San Antonio and looked out the window to see flat dry land. I could already tell its gonna be hot. But I'm kinda used to the hot weather consisting that I lived in Miami my whole life.

I walked out of the airport and Sarah was waiting for me. We drove to Olive Garden to get something to eat. When we walked in, it was packed. "How many?" A tall guy asked. "Just to." "I'm sorry, but there aren't any tables open. You'll have to wait." The guy said. "Um, okay. For how long?" Sarah asked questioning the guy. "Maybe 45 mins.." Sarah looked at me and said "Let's go, I don't wanna wait that long for a table." So we went to get pizza instead.

We went to Sarahs house and just chilled until it got late. "First day of 11th grade tomorrow for me." Sarah said with a sigh. "Great. First day of 10th grade for me, yay!" I said sarcastically. "And I'm going to be the new girl.." I said slouching in the couch. "It's okay, I'm sure someone will be your guide around." She said nudging me. "Yeah, I guess so." I said.

It was already 10:36pm so I went upstairs to my new room. I looked around and it was pretty empty, but it will do until I get used to it. I unpacked all my things and put my clothes in the closet and my girl things in the bathroom. I freshened up and changed into some pj pants and a tank top. I crawled into bed, pulled the covers over me and got the sleep I needed.
