April 27th 1796,
"Alaina!" Someone yelled. I opened my eyes. It's still dark out. "Why did he wake me up now? Its to early." I thought to myself. There is probably some important reason, I decided to get out of my night gown and dress into my day dress.
I start walking down the stairs to see a young gentleman standing at the bottom next to my father. I got to the bottom and stared at my father first then at the man.
My father has been bringing many men into this house to try to get me to want to marry one of them. I'm only 16 though, I don't want to get married yet, I just want to have things stay like this.
"Let me guess, you are rich, or at least claim to be to impress either me or my father, you think my father is the greatest governor England has ever had, and you come from a long line of important people." I said just to annoy father.  He stared at me like he was mad or something.
The guy started to laugh, but my father silenced him. "Alaina! He isn't one I would want you to marry, he is a scum from the streets." He said rudely. My face started to turn red. I turned my head to try and make sure my father couldn't see I was embarrassed.
"There has been bad weather passing through all of England and is heading our way. This boy, Henry, will be escorting you to a safe haven." He said a little nicer. Henry gave a small smile. "Shall we be off madam?" Henry asked taking my hand. "I guess." I answered.
We get into the carriage. "I'm sorry, my father was very rude back there." I told him. "Don't apologize, I understand why he said it." He said. I gave a slim smile. It got quiet fast.
"So, have you heard about all the missing people?" He asked. "No, I haven't, I'm not the governors daughter or anything." I said sarcastically. He just kind of stared a little confused. "Yes, of course I have." I told him, but he looked even more confused now.
"What? Am I not allowed to have fun?" I asked. "No, its just my friends sister is missing." He explained. "Oh I'm so sorry, I didn't kn-" he interrupted me. "Just kidding, she isn't. But seriously my mother, Annalise Thayer, is missing." He said, his eyes started to tear up, he wasn't joking. He looked out the window, pretending that conversation didn't happen. It went silent, before the storm started. Thunder boomed, lightning flashed every so often, and the wind was howling.
Lightning struck the carriage. I screamed in horror. It all went quiet, when a strange noise began. I opened my eyes there were weird looking carriages without horses. The signs were lit with a strange light.
August 19th 2015, the sign on the buildings kept flashing.
"What?" I said turning around, as I turn I ran into a girl. She spills a strange cream on my dress. "My apologies." I said. She looked at me like I was strange. When in reality she is strange, her clothes look almost like the things men wore back at home but, more plain.
"LIGHT!!!THERES LIGHT!!" Another girl yelled from behind us. I turned to look and the girl was running away from the shadows while scolding them as well. She ran towards the sunlight. Then ran over to us.
"Is that ice cream?!" She asked. "Uh... Ya..." The first girl answered. Then the other girl dove onto my dress attacking the ice cream. I kicked her off of me and stood up. "I'm Alaina by the way." I told her. "Freya." She said. The other girl got up and decided to join the conversation. "I'm Skye!" She said.
"August 19th, 2015. This is impossible." I said. "2015?" Skye asked. "Yeah." Freya said confused. She looked at both of us like we were crazy. "What's so strange? It's been 2015 for almost a year." Freya continued. "No, it was 1796." I said. "No, it was 2141." Skye said. We all looked at each other.
