*Beep. Beep.*
My alarm goes off. 6:00 A.M. on Saturday morning. I forgot to turn off my alarm clock last night, "Damnit." I whispered to myself. I turned off my alarm clock and headed downstairs for food. I'm still half asleep but I was hungry and couldn't fall back to sleep. I got cereal out of the cupboard and started pouring it. I looked down after 30 seconds of pouring "Fruit Loops" I realized I was pouring it into a glass cup. "Ugh..." I said taking out a bowl and pouring my cereal into that instead of the bowl.
I sat down at the table and started to eat, my face almost landed into the bowl when I just about fell asleep. My phone vibrated. I looked down to see it was Grant, also known as, my boyfriend. "Hey you awake?" He texted. "Yeah my alarm went off... Why are you?" I replied. "You were on my mind." He sent. "Aww.... But seriously what's the real reason?" I asked. "Parents are fighting again." He said with a frowning emoji. "This early?" I sent with a confused emoji. "Yeah... My mom wants a divorce." He sent. "I'm so sorry." My fingers typed immediately. "It's for the best." He replied. "Let me know if you need anything... Seriously." I sent with a smiling emoji. He sent a blushing emoji and an ok. The conversation continued for hours.
At about 9:00 A.M. My little sister, Jackie, came down the stairs. "Good morning sleepy head." I said to her. "Good muhner." She said with her eyes closed and her hair everywhere. She came over to me and sat on my lap, luckily I was on the couch now and not on the tables chairs.
She fell asleep on my lap, I had to be careful not to move or she might wake up. Jackie is about 4 years old, and is one of the most adorable little kids I've ever met.
I was adopted about a year ago, and this family has treated me as if I was actually one of them, in this family I have an older brother named Cain, he is at college so I don't see him much anymore.
A little bit later my adopted mom, Arwen, walked down the stairs, I love her name. "Morning." I whispered. "Good morning. Did you eat?" She asked in a whispering voice. "A few hours ago." I responded. "Ok, well I'll make some food for all of us then." She smiled. "Thanks." I said.
The smell of food was amazing, like actual food, not cereal. She was making eggs, sausage, bacon, and pancakes. Some of us don't like bacon, so she makes sausages with it too.
Jackie woke up smelling food. "Is mom up?" She asked. "Yeah." I told her. She gasped and ran over to her, if she was my age she would've tackled her.
We all ate our food, then I went to get dressed. Dark blue top, black pants and black boots, I put my hair into a messy bun and was ready for what the day was going to throw at me, at least I thought. I got downstairs and went to talk to Arwen. "You look adorable, your dark brown hair matches your outfit." She said. "Thanks, do you think I might be able to go for a walk later?" I asked. "Sure, just be safe." She said. "Especially if you go into the city, there are crazy people there. Just don't end up on Tatooine" She joked. "Ok. Thank you!" I told her. She handed me $200 "Just in case you want to buy anything." Arwen said "Really?" I asked. "Ya really." She said smiling.
It was 1:00 P.M. and it was storming out. "Ugh." I sat down on the couch. "How about you just watch Netflix?" A familiar voice spoke behind me. I turned around to see who it was. "Cain!" I yelled and got up, he gave me a hug. "Shhhh!!! I'm trying to surprise mom." He said. "Dy Cane!" I tried to make it so Arwen would think I said candy cane instead of Cain. He laughed. "Sorry." I said. "No,no its all good, don't worry." He said sneaking upstairs to scare Arwen. I hear a scream upstairs. "You scared me half to death Cain!" She yelled. "But its great to see you." She finished.
The storm is finally over with, and I figured I would leave them and let them catch up. "I'm gonna head out now Arwen, if that's ok with you." I yelled up the stairs. "Go ahead Freya!" She yelled down.
I headed out the door and walked to the city. I found a bunch of Star Wars stuff, it was great, I bought a bunch of those things, and ice cream, because I mean who could resist ice cream, unless you don't like it.
There was a strange looking girl lying on the sidewalk. She got up and I accidentally spilled my ice cream on her, while another girl ran around yelling at shadows, and chasing any light source she could find. I met both of them, they seemed weird, but I'm not sure quite who they were or how insane they were. They both claimed to be from different times. I was a bit confused, especially once they followed me home. "Alaina, Skye stop being creeps and following me, I don't even really know you, all I know is your names, and you guys are bloody psychopaths, just leave me alone." I told them.
I kept walking. They stopped for a little but kept following anyways. I shook my head and blocked them from my view, I just started to pretend they weren't there.
I got home, and locked the door behind me. I walked into the living room and sat down after putting my clothes, and other Star Wars things away. The doorbell rang. "Don't answer it!" I yelled down. But I heard the door open anyways. "Great." I thought to myself. "Freya! You have friends here to see you!" Arwen yelled up the stairs. "Perfect." I mumbled to myself as I began walking down the stairs.
