Wolfs lie

Connors POV
I wake up and look closely at Avery huddled to my side a cute smile crossing his face. How could the goddess be so kind as to give him to me. Everything about him is perfect from his plump lips,big eyes and the beautiful smile that never gives up.

He needs to know what I am.... I have to tell him soon. I think I'll bring him to the pack house and let Avery get settled before telling him what I am and what he is to me...

AVERY POV
Slowly stretching my arms out it takes me a moment to relive where I am. I glance at Connor who smiles down at me. "So..... what's going to happen now??" I curiously ask looking at Connor

"Well you're mother and father have been arrested for child abuse and then men.... In the room have also been arrested for assaulting a minor..."

Connor looks as if he's internally fighting himself after saying that. It's strange his eyes also seem to darken to a sit of forest green. Something in my mind tells me to comfort him.

So what do I do, I place my hand to his cheek and give him a warm smile. He looks to me all stress leaving his face. "Alright Avery its about time we leave my parents have received custody of you since you're almost 18."

I nod to him excited my birthday is within the next few months. Grinning at him with a big cheesy smile lightens the mood. He stands up first and hands me a bag of clothes which I gladly take. I walk over towards the bathroom to shower and slip on the clothing.

As I'm taking the shower I scrub my hair and body throughly to rid any feeling of... them.
When I step out and open the duffle bag for the clothes. I see an oversized t-shirt and shorts..... What the hell is this it's like 2 sizes to big and the shorts are barely mid thigh... Reluctantly I put them out and brush out my hair before sliding my glasses on.

I love at the mirror and flinch back noticing the large bruise on the right side of my face. Guessing it was when the man slapped me, I then slowly look to my wrist to see large bruising. I grimaced and hid them within the shirts sleeves.

When I walked out of the bathroom Connor was standing there with a small bag waiting for me. I smiled at him when he outstretched his hand and I took it. While he led me out of the hospital and to his Camaro.

2 hours later
When we finally reached his house I had unpacked my things into his room. Since they seemed to be short on space in this massive home. I swear it was built for hundreds of people and not a spare room in sight, wth. Anyways Connor left the room telling me he'd be back to get me for dinner. But to not under and circumstances leave the room. So I obliged by drawling to my hearts content.

CONNOR POV
I left Avery in my room to discuss with my parents about telling him the big secret. I carefully knocked on the door waiting for a reply. When Mom opened the door smiling and gesturing me inside. Mother was sitting on the bed reading when I entered. (btw mom is the sub mother is the Dom)

"Mom, Mother I brought Avery home since he'll be with us for quite some while but I need to ask something of you.."

Mother set her book down and cast her eyes to me "Connor are you planing to tell him tonight??" I nodded my head hesitantly. She let out a big smile along with my mom before giving me a heartfelt hug.

"GOD! I'm so proud of you it's good to not hide anything early in the relationship, but that means he is as well a carrier. So when you mate make sure he knows that for sure." I smiled happily replying.
"For sure I will tell home everything tonight I just hope he'll take it well." Mom smiled at me and came to give me a hug while whispering "Just try not to scare him so much."

back in the bedroom
AVERYS POV
Connor came walking back into the room with a proud grin on his face. I smiled at him for being such a dork before he grabbed my hand leading me downstairs. Now I was confused what was he doing"Connor where are we going right now?"

"Out back I'm telling you the big secret, just promise to stay clam." He replied stopping to look at me."Uhhh okay I guess but why out-"
Connor cut me off by shushing me.

I gave him my best glare but followed him out of the house. When he closed the door behind me I shivered at the cold air touching my skin. He then started removing his clothes placing his shirt over me to keep warm.

Blushing I looked away before he grabbed my face between his fingers and kissed my forehead while whispering "Please don't be afraid and don't look away."

Obeying his words I watched as he crouched to the ground and his bones began to pop one by one shifting out of place. Fur started to spout where skin once was and his face elongated.
Ones he was done he looked at me with those familiar green eyes begging me not to run.

I thought I would seeing as he just turned into a huge dog but I felt safe around him guarded. Sticking my hand out he put his snout up to it leaning into me. I smiled down at him then knelt down to hug his neck. When I pulled back I heard a low growl.

Looking too my left we both saw a large black wolf covered in scares stalking towards us. Connor took a protective stance in front of me as he lot out a defining howl, most likely signaling others.

Sons wolves of all shapes and colors poured from the house and trees. Confused until A women similar to Connor walked to me ushering me inside saying stay here you'll be safer. Before she closed and locked the door, then an all out battle between both groups broke out.

I was confused as to why this was happening and who where those other wolves. When suddenly a loud crash sounded from the front of the house. I turned around seeing the large black wolf stalk toward me till I saw darkness.

Oooohhhh cliffhanger!!! Sorry I've been inactive I'm not good at writing half the time but a lot of you gave me encouraging words to continue so here we are. I hope you like this chapter and maybe I'll post more sooner...
