Colton

When I saw her I didn't think that she was the most beautiful girl that I ever laid eyes on, I didn't instantly think to myself, "I'm going to date her one-day and I'm going to fall in love with her."

She didn't walk through the door in appealing clothes and demand the attention from everyone in the room. She didn't catch my eye like others before her did and I didn't even know her name or where she was from when she slammed into me, running out of a small market located just by my house.

I don't remember much when it happened, just the mischievous look on her face as she concealed items under her jacket. The store clerk ran out of the door after her, but he stopped once he realized that he would never catch up to the small, yet fast girl.

She wasn't a lost cause.

She wasn't out of control, even though she was positive she was.

She was bad at being good, and as they say, the good can go bad. Does that also mean the bad can go good? Because all she wanted was her lips to drip honey instead of her teeth dripping blood, she craved good intentions and noble causes.

But nothing is bad.

Everything starts from goodness and sometimes turns bad, and good acts bad but that doesn't necessarily mean that good stays bad because once you dig deeper into the soul you find the good in everything that is bad.

She always said that happiness comes and leaves; it slithers into your life and slithers it's way out. She always said that my biggest regret would be how much I believed in the future, instead of living for the present.

Goosebumps appeared on my skin in their nervous extremities, lip biting, mischievous smiles, all the signs that point to a bad idea. But then again I've never been the one to make good decisions.
