Kagura in the Pleasure District (Gintama Fanfiction)

The Rangetsu Island

A normal day as always. The Yorozuya again didn't have a job. Shinpachi wasn't home and Gintoki went to buy some strawberry milk. Kagura stayed there with Sadaharu. She was extremely bored in the sofa without doing anything waiting for someone to come back. Kagura hated that type of days when there was absolutely nothing to do, even if it was always. She was almost sleeping when suddenly the telephone started ringing. She immediately went there and got the telephone.

"Here Yorozuya Gin-chan." Kagura said still bored.

"Sorry, do you know any Kagura?" The man from the phone asked.

"It's me-aru." Kagura answered.

"About the TV contest you participated, it seems you won! Want to come to pick the reward...? Miss? Are you there?" The telephone turn off. Kagura wasn't anywhere to be seen in the house, but you could hear people screaming and things falling as she ran through Kabuki to pick her reward. In 1 minute, she was already there. She had the biggest smile ever as she calmly waited for her to be attended as the reward.

She had chosen to enter a contest called 'the waffle contest'. Whoever ate more waffles would win the contest and a secret present the winner would have. Of course, Kagura won. Her Yato instinct let her eat everything. In third place, a guy ate 32 waffles, in second place 49 and Kagura... Kagura ate 153 waffles. She had been all week waiting for what would the reward be and that was the day.

Gintoki finally arrived home to see a happy Kagura dancing in the house. What happened to her? He went near and left the strawberry milk in the door.

"What happened?" Gintoki asked. She looked happily at Gintoki.

"I'm going on vacation-aru!"

He looked confused at Kagura and after sitting down, he remembered the waffle contest Kagura went a week ago. That was the present? At least Kagura needed to invite him. Gintoki politely asked if he could go, and Kagura said that no. It was only for one person.

A trip to the vacation Rangetsu islands. The perfect place for resting. It was a total of 10 islands by the side connected by beautiful bridges. Each island had various shrines and temples to the Shinto gods, apart from the hotels and stuff. There were two main small cities in the same island, the biggest. One was Wan City, where you could buy absolutely anything. Clothes, objects, food and souvenirs could be found there. Then there was Sogenzoku. Kagura really didn't know what was on that city. She didn't even know that it wasn't a city. The only thing she knew was that the hotel was on Sogenzoku. It was called, 'Natsuko Place'.

The trip was going to be of a complete month. Gintoki nor Shinpachi would see Kagura for one whole month. Gintoki didn't know if to feel worried or relieved. Relieved because Kagura wouldn't be bothering, but worried because he knew that Kagura was really irresponsible and had anything could happen to her in a complete month.

Kagura started preparing everything. Since she didn't actually have a bag for herself, so she chose Gintoki's. She noticed that she didn't have enough clothes for one complete month out. With the money she won for the reward, Kagura could buy some clothes in Wan city, even if her hotel was in Sogenzoku. The next day, Gintoki took her to the port with Shinpachi. Kagura was jumping and swirling all the time as the other people just looked at her weird.

Kagura entered the boat and waited in the front deck for the boat to start the journey. She looked at the place and remembered that she wouldn't see it again for one month. The boat started going and Kagura waved her hand saying goodbye to Gintoki, Shinpachi and Sadaharu while they did the same.

"Finally, she's gone..." Gintoki said waving his hand.

"Some peace we will have." Shinpachi said too.
