Laylani POV

I laid in the bed cuddling with Brandon after coming from an amusement park.

I inhaled his scent my face in his neck , his hands around my waist .

" Your such a creep " he said referring to me smelling him

" But I'm your creep " I said laughing

" You got that right " he said pulling me closer .

He started to drift to sleep as I began thinking

It had been a few months since the incident and I still felt the dirt resting in my pores.

At first I was numb.

Then anger followed.

Then the depression.

I tried my hardest to push away the people I love dearly My parents, My siblings , Kadeyah, TJ , and Brandon.

But of course they weren't having it .

They kept me out the house and kept my spirits high . I mean I expected it from TJ and Kadeyah but Brandon has been my biggest cheerleader motivating me slowly and unknowingly easing my thoughts of suicide .

Now all I had to do was get back to the old me and with there level of support it wouldn't take long .

" I can't wait till the fall well be off to college baby I'm going to go pro you just watch . The recruiters have been blowing me up . Can't you see that " he rambled he always brought up random facts that he sees in our future before he goes to sleep

Brandon Demar Cole , now Brandon Demar Redding since he decided he would legally change his last name to his late mothers to cut all ties with his deceased father .

I could see us being together for forever .

He was perfect for me but it was one thing I think will break us apart .

"Babe " I said

"Huh?" He asked stirring

" Do you uhm....miss having sex . I know we've been together a while and I want you to be happy and I know your a boy " I said before he cut me off with a meaningful kiss to my lips

" Shhhh ok don't you rush yourself into nothing after what you've been through . Don't worry about me your pace is my pace and I love you blue balls and all " he said laughing

" I love you " I said closing my eyes to go to sleep

"I know ". He said falling asleep himself .

I know your all wondering what happened that night .

I became a whole nother person .

Buddha called me and told me stuff didn't go as planned and Xavier was unconscious but Lani was safe .

So much bad and good news in one sentence.

I feel to my knees and started to pray and cry .

I asked God to bring us through like he had done so many times before and to forgive me in advance for the crimes I would commit .

About 20 minutes later Chris called me and said he had woken up but he had a bad head injury and wanted to go straight to see Lani.

I told him to bring him to the house so our on call Doctor could check on his injury .
